Thanks for this. Anyone that's dealt with PS3 ROMs knows that they are formatted a little different than other platforms. The EBOOT step was just what I needed. Cheers 🍻
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial, but I seem to have a problem with booting games from LB. It boots just fine from RPCS3 but not from LB. (invalid file or folder) Thank you keep it up :)
Right click on game, open install folder, one of those folders have the eboot.bin file. Ull find it for sure there. Drag that into LB and go thru the steps and ur good
@@DonellHD Ok I did exactly what you said on the video everything in fine, until I want to play a PS3 game. it seems the problem leis on the RPCS3 part, it won't detect the EBOOT file I guess which is weird. (Fatal Error, reason: invalid file/folder) tried to redirect the EBOOT path to RPCS3 did not help. well I'm stumped, I mean I can open RPCS3 through LB and then activate the game but it's just is not the same as "one clicking it". Anyway if I will find a solution I will write it here. Thank you very much stay safe Ace D53.
Thanks for this tutorial. It absolutely works a treat. The only question I have is in relation to the escape script. Is there any way to be able to escape out of a game using the controller instead of a keyboard? For example, using the L2 and R2 keys simultaneously?
@Penguin they must be unzipped. Use eboot .isos and .pkg only or you will get that message everytime. Try files from archive if ur still having problems
Hi bro, thank you for your good information. I want to exit the emulator with the logitech f710 controller, not with the ESC key. I want to do this by pressing the middle of the left and right sticks on the controller. For this, the script area what should i write?
@@DonellHD no like i click the download link for the ps3 update and nothing happens idk if its because i need a partition formatted fat32 to store it thats what the website says
@@alienconcept2389 it may be something you have to ask in the rpcs3 discord buddy. You are the first person reporting this issue. No one else is having that problem.
