How-to mount your KTUNER V2 display, how-to setup your KTUNER V2 gauge layout, and setup your KTUNER data points for real-time viewing on the KTUNER touchscreen display. I'll take you through different KTUNER V2 display mounting locations, then provide you with a view of all of KTUNER's available gauge layouts. I've since added "K.Cont" to the datapoints I'm monitoring via the live gauge layout. What datapoints are you, or would you be monitoring?

I chose a stealthier route. I bought this 'KTuner V2 Console Holder' on eBay for $12. It is 3D printed. It sits on the console in front of the cubby. The V2 can easily be lifted out to access the storage and 12V/USB sockets (I leave the little door open) and I mounted the holder with Velcro in case I want to remove it temporarily. I don't have the line-of-sight out of the windshield but it is stable.

@@TheLemonFactor www.ebay.com/itm/Fits-Honda-Accord-18-21-10th-Generation-KTuner-V2-Console-Holder/333790986823 To install the V2 into the holder you have to remove the four screws from the bottom of the case back so I sealed that area with some tape. I hope the 3D printing holds up to temperature extremes.

I have done data logging. It's useful to see if and where you have a problem, like monitor your air temp or fuel quality. One just to see overall what the car is doing. Totally safe on either of these tunes to go WOT from any speed, including stand still, if you hate your tires that much lol. Advanced VSA and aggressive ignition pullback setting will help with wheel spin

The v2 comes with a mount of your choice. My window mount is very sturdy. No extra charge. And they have different options for mounts.

Also with my otherwise stock car, on stage 2, K.CONT is .69 +/- on good fuel. 93+E85. Not good to me. Stage 3 on same fuel is .49 ALWAYS. Even runs mph 135+

You can run the KTUNER Stage 2 without having any other mods 👍

You can sell it, but you would need to unlock it from being “married” to your car for it to work on someone else’s, which would revert your car back to the stock tune.

Im all new to this, I noticed folks with the v2 can view kcount parameters. I bought a v1.2 and downloaded the tunerview app and only have parameter for kret and kcon etc but no kcount.

Quick question. Do you keep the display on at all times when driving or only while data logging ? I got the ktuner with phearable stage 3, but I’m skeptical about leaving it on since it stays connected to the OBD2.

Yes, once you’ve uploaded the tune to your car, you can remove the KTuner (if you’d like to).

How’d you get two intake air temps? I couldn’t figure out how to do that. Also didn’t know how to set the difp or whatever it was. If you could reply to me that would be great. Thanks for the helpful video by the way

Intake temps are IAT1 and IAT2. IAT2 is before a certain point, and IAT1 is after, I think. I forget what point - MAF sensor?

It's AFR 14.6 to 29 safe? That's what mines show..

It depends on your driving conditions and if you’re experiencing any knock. With that said, in general I would expect to see ~14.7 under closed loop, cruising, no boost situations, and anywhere around 10.5-12 AFR under WOT, boost. But again, this is “in general”. Your stated AFR would have me concerned if that’s what you’re seeing under load/boost 😧

Currently showing K.CON, ECT, IAT, GEAR, MAP, TPS, BAT, AFR, TC.Prs on the first screen. Second screen shows K.CYC, K.COUNT, K.CON, ECT, ECT2, IAT, IAT2, AIGN. Still trying to figure out what is useful and not.

No. Haven’t gotten that into it yet. Just like the extra oomph at 3k RPM from the stage 2 tune. Makes the car much more drivable in normal conditions. Don’t do WOT take offs from stand still either.

@@mrzeld just to be clear, by you saying Don't do WOT from standstill, one would perceive that as a warning. Which in fact would be false. These tunes are completely safe to do this. Maybe you meant, YOU don't do WOT pulls from standstill, by your personal preference.

Sure you can, but that’s a pretty expensive AFR gauge.

There are wireless OBD devices that can read various sensor readings, which you can use your phone to monitor 👍

No. The KTuner reprograms the cars ECU. So the update stays on there till you flash it again.

No. The KTuner shown is version 2. It has the screen with guages and holds about 6 different tunes that you can flash whenever you like. Just need the KTuner to do the flashing since it has a screen. Costs about 650 or so. There is also a version 1.2 which is just a box that plunges in but requires a laptop to do the flash. It is cheaper but no screen and requires laptop. You can use a tablet with Bluetooth as the screen with the 1.2 though. Not sure about flashing without a laptop though with v1.2.
