TIPS:
- Wiring connection must be coming from LAN1 of TM modem to WAN port of TP-Link Router.
- PPPOE username and password is required to login to Unifi network. Please obtain it from TM customer service.

Can you do a setup video for time fibre ? The installer mentioned that since the Huawei ONT is a 2-in-1 (modem+router) I need to contact Time to disable the router function first before I can setup the tplink routers. Can you confirm this ? Alternatively, I suppose the routers can be setup as access points....

hi tplink.. my office using the same router.. but we cant manually set vlan voip at any LAN port.. we using unifi so Lan1 is for hypptv lan2-4 for internet.. how to manually change lan for voip?

recently i setup one of the router ax1500, i used seperated wifi 2.4g and 5G . but there's come out one more same ssid and end with"@unifi" . i look around inside configuration page . there is no way to turn it off. and my firmware version is 2020. the new firmware is detected . is that necessary to update also?

@@irstfu I used a laptop and finally connected it to internet, YES !! The key is here 2:32, you must select Malaysia-unifi for ISP profile, my menu looks slightly different but it works, give it a go

You must use a laptop/pc to perform the configuration, tether app doesn’t work as you need to select “Unifi Malaysia” during setting.

You can use old device as modem only. Buy wifi 6 router and connect to LAN port

@@AvexLim there is this setting in ur router under advanced > network > iptv/vlan... Scroll down til u see igmp version, select V3. The top part I left it default Malaysia unifi.

@@zaimi5240 Maxis fibre optic plan. Dia punya router tu custom build. Firmware dan security banyak ketat kawal data masuk, akhirnya banyak online game tak leh main. Bagi tau maxis pun tak guna sebab depa tak nak tukar firmware. Lagi pun router tu jenis WIFI 4 atau 5. Ni tp link router WIFI 6 dah, jadi lagi pantas, coverage wifi lagi besar dan wifi signal boleh tembus lagi tebal atau 2 lapis dinding. Kalau nak router performance bagus mesti kena fungsi pada suhu tahap rendah daripada 40c

saya ada hypp tv, tapi internet masih streamyx kalau tak silap.. sebab pernah mintak kawan check kan sama ada unifi or streamyx.. currently planning nak tukar router sebb router yg ada kat rumah ni dah lama, and speed memang hurrmm.. bloleh guna cara ni ke? or ada step lain?

@@danishamin3105 yes, im using archer a5 model and look up at shoppe comment they say need choose malaysia-unifi in advance setting under ppoe. that is the detail i miss, sometime it depend on model what kind of setting you need to do.
