Thanks for your great video tutorial on VoiceMeeter and OBS - finally Iam able to get setup properly with NO echo come back after a recording. Nicely done and loved your narration.
this is a great video! thank you and definitely a thumbs up! :) so.. if A1->A1, A2->A2 etc. Does that mean I can switch between headphones and speakers? My question: what's the easiest setup/way to switch between inputs and outputs. I tend to switch between my speakers and my Yeti mic when I play solo. When joining friends I switch to a different mic and the headphones. Voicemeeter seems so intimidating to me but I know it doesn't need to be.
Correct, so you'll have to add that addition output on A2 at the top right then select A2 in the channel you want to hear. So for example, you could have A1 or A2 selected on the discord channel hear each individual output at the same time or separate.
Ok, I have everything setup except I can only hear alerts through my VAIO where my game audio is at and I want to change it to my AUX but I don’t know how to do it. (On streamlabs btw)
Ive given up on trying to use Voicemeeter, ive followed every step to the T yet everytime i change my Hardware out to my headset, i get Audio Renderer error and need to restart my PC...
any ideas on why there is no input with my microphone, even it is being detected? like nothing happens beside the fader gain even i chose the right mic for hardware input
If you don’t see the VB cable, you may have to restart or try and reinstall insuring you run as administrator. Unless you have another external source like a capture card, you won’t have much else for input. Everything else will be internal and will be a Virtual input.
Two people , two headsets , how to set up Voicemeeter I wouldn´t hear own voice, only friend´s voice and we should hear each other? I am using basic version. now virtual input A is selected so I can hear the youtube video and also my voice what I don`t want to hear and my mic input I have selected A selection ,otherwise there is no output for the my and friend´s voice for the video editing software. How I get rid of my own voice and still get it through output to video editor? Do I need Banana version for it and what is set up for it?
You should be able to setup your hardware outs A1,A2 to separate headsets. Once you do that, you'll have to have separate hardware inputs as well for the separate mics. Then work the channels that way.
Hi, I have Native Instruments Traktor pro 3 installed in my windows 64Bit system. i have traktor hardware controllers (mixer) Z1 & X1 mk2 which i plugged in my windows system. I want to livestream on Twitch(installed) using OBS(installed). i am able to stream visulas on twitch through OBS however sound not coming on stream. i installed voice meeter banana & Cable Virtual audio device also, please help with configuration so i will get sound on stream & for mixing i get sound on headphones which i connect to traktor hardware controller. cheers!
You did NOT show what to choose for Global Audio Devices in OBS. I don't know what to assume here to follow your instructions. I added the 'Audio Input Captures' so, when I follow: 8:03 - Setup B1 (OBS) 8:40 - Routing B1(Voicemeeter) 8:13 - Setup B2 (OBS) Nothing is metering in OBS's Audio Mixer.
I always leave my Global Audio in OBS to default because voicemeeter isn't my priority device. You can change it Voicemeeter Input or Voicemeeter Aux Input if you wish, but it's not required. I add the inputs separately and name then accordingly.
It may be a tech issue. If your mic is working fine without Voicemeeter then you shouldn't have any issues by following the guide. If you still have issue I can troubleshoot this with you in my Discord.
If you are referring to listening it back as an audio device, you'll have to set it up as a hardware out on one of the top right 3 channels. If you are still having issues, hop in my discord and I'll help you out.
