This helped me.. i actually knew how to mount one of these.. but my desk has a problem and i could not mount the stand on the sides but i managed to set it up on the back of the desk and looks just fine.. thank you very much!

SAME i have one from Ikea the one with the desk and the metal rectangle on the right.... i figured out a way to clamp it on to the bookshelf on the left vertically... hope this helped

If your chair has an arm rest you can hook it up there, not ideal but it works

You get a thin enough piece of wood to hold the clamp. You put that piece of wood on your desk, and clamp it using 2 wood claps to the desk.
