*It’s perfect for the amount of labels I print. New **Bestt.Digital** Label Printer, Only had it for a day so far. Works great and was a super easy setup! Would recommend buying.*
Eric!!!! I owe you a a huge thank you for helping me with this. I appreciate the video so much, as well as recommendation for a cheaper thermal printer.
I have a roll of 500 and it didn’t print on those. But it worked on the roll that came with the printer, during the set up process, when it had me print a sample.
Some things I learned today with the Rollo installation. I'm on a Mac. It would just not show up when I was trying to add the printer. I realized I needed up update my Mac. I did that and it still didn't show. My husband, the tech guy, was like lets try turning Rollo off and back on. That solved that problem. My next issue? After unplugging Rollo (and plugging it back in) it says offline and won't reconnect on its own. Our solution seems to be leaving Rollo off. Plug into the laptop. Turn Rollo on. It connects instantly. Anyone else have that second issue with Rollo being offline?
@@danas.4981 multiple times. But like 5 minutes ago I tried installing the driver with the printer off and that did it FINALY !!! Thank you for trying to help 🙂
I think its safe to say that you are using a PNG and this is not the same process for a PDF. I think this is the most confusing when using a printer for shipping lables.
Thanks for the video I was able to set it up and print sample label with no problem. But I can’t print from EBay….I don’t see any options to change paper size or anything. 😔. This is my first Mac and little frustrating that I just want to go get a regular laptop.
I got a different printer but it’s the same exact style at the rollo. But it doesn’t give me the option to choose a driver? It just lets me add it, and it doesn’t work when I try to print my labels.
Hi, can my son and I use the same Rollo printer? We need it to print each of our names and addresses. I use my laptop and he uses his phone. All Apple products. Thanks
So aggravating. I set this up no problem with USB, and printed for 2 days. Today, it shows idle, but it's not communicating. I've deleted, re-added, etc. It's trying to go wireless it seems. No settings were changed.
I sell on a platform that sends me shipping labels in PDF format. How easy is it to reformat a shipping label from a 8.5x11 size PDF file to fit into this 4x6 size thermal printer? Thanks!
Hi this is not working properly, I have these weird size options, not the 4x6. am i missing something, I followed the steps two times and the sizes are like nothng ive seen before as series of numbers and letters.
I’m having trouble with printing, whenever I stick paper from the back it will automatically print the “John Smith, do not ship” label. And then when I physically click print from other sites like eBay/ Mercari it’s still printing out the stock label.
I have the newest MacBook Air, I recently purchased this Rollo printer but the USB that comes with the printer to connect to your computer I can’t connect to my MacBook because my MacBook doesn’t have a USB input. do you know what I can do?
I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great ru-vid.comUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.
Sorry, this guy users a Raspberry Pi Unit to print wirelessly from his phone to the rollo. He doesn’t elaborate much but I think this is awesome 🤔 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
Can you do a video for an easy way to print Poshmark labels to your roll on a mac, please? I had to snip it into work and it was a pain and really didn't scan well at the PO. Thanks!
Hi, you have to go into poshmark and change a shipping setting to 4x6 and you'll be good to go. I have a video on my channel that shows it from ios but it's the same thing on desktop. Hope that helps 🙏🙏
Was very informative but talked and showed way to quick. On to the next step before I could find what I needed. Slow it down a bit and it would be fabulous!!
Im trying to print a watermark but it keeps printing everything in just black instead of grey. For waybill use. Im using this for my Shopee business but cant seem to get it to work. Also using a Mac.
@@thecollegepicker I know it sucks :/ but then they would have to spend extra money to accommodate every customer unfortunately and big corporations are NOT generous like that lol :( . I think it’s the usb -c for MacBook error and make sure to reset the setting for the printer once you print your labels cause I didn’t 😂
It ultimately depends how big and complicated the files are but yes I've seen them work and I've also seen them give issues for some people. Mostly working.
Hey!! I have this printer (not Bluetooth capable), but purchased an adapter for usb to iPhone. Do you know how to download the rollo driver to the iPhone?
I recently purchased this and the sample label printed out amazingly, but when I tried to print from USPS, they printed out really small. Do you have any ideas as how fix this?
I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem - I have a MacBook Pro (always auto updates to the latest Operating System release) and I use Chrome Browser (also always updated to most recent release). I only sell a few things here and there on eBay, but it seems like every time I turn on the Rollo, attach my USB cord from laptop to the Rollo, set up the label, then try to print that shipping label via the Rollo, the Rollo thermal printer no longer exists as an option in my "Printers and Scanners" section. When I hit "print", the only option that shows is my old trusty HP office printer. Why does the Rollo Thermal Printer keep disappearing after I have previously and successfully downloaded the drivers and it worked when printing the label right after downloading said drivers? How do I get it to stay as an option in my "Printers and Scanners" section of my MacBook? I have had to navigate to this RU-vid tutorial out of frustration 5 times now over the past few months. Every time I've hit the "+" sign to add it (the Rollo printer), signed in with my admin password on my Mac to allow that to happen, and it then successful shows as an added printer. Then where does it go? Why does it drop off my "Printers and Scanners" list, and why do I constantly have to re-add it and re-download the drivers? Any help or advice appreciated. I must be doing something wrong.
thecollegepicker thank you sir! I actually have a Mac book that I recently placed an order on but I just also realized the ports are all USBc now. Will I have to get adapter or it won’t work as well?
@@thecollegepicker I know it’s not a wireless printer and they’ve been “coming out “ with something since September. I’ve heard of people making the current rollo printer wireless. I was just curious if you had any intel on the HOW. It’s the only printer I can get my hands on at an affordable price but the biggest con is that it’s not wireless
They've been talking about it for over a year. Some people program a raspberry pi into a print server, or share the printer using a laptop but those aren't truly wireless workarounds, and they are not very simple to do. 😔
if is not wireless how do you connect it to the macbook? I have a macbook air. i want to print shipping labels for a shopify store. would this printer work for me? thank you
i followed all of the steps and it works up until printing the label.once i press print it goes through but will not print the image :( idk what im doing wrong
It doesn't have hardware to be wireless. You can network it with a router or a raspberry pi but that's still not technically wireless. I speculate that are going to sell some modification of the raspberry pi for people to network them a little easier than having to program it yourself. Hope that helps!
My MacBook won’t even recognize the Rollo it won’t bring up this printer. I highly recommend saving money and passing on this crap product if you have a newer computer
