Yes, very nice. What a first step. I am going to tell you now. Learn how to sew a shirt. Men you have to learn how to sew your own shirts. They are not that hard to do. You can then make collars the way you want them stiff with long pointy tips or softer with shorter points. Make your sleeves the length you want. I make may wife’s shirts, women call then tops. She picks the fabric I have the measurements and poof she has a tailored top. I am going to start making us denim jackets. Then with the embroidery element we will add our embroidery to our jackets. I can’t tell you how much you want to learn to sew a simple mans dress shirt. 2 kinds of shorts you want. Fist is a camp shirt or a bowling shirt and then a dress shirt. That’s it that’s all you need everything is of them. 👍👍👍👍👍. This man is always leading the way.
So excited I found you. I see other comments from 1 2 3 yrs ago. I hope you still see this as I’m wondering if you have or will show video using this as embroidery. I have this same machine and sew on it but have never done embroidering. Scares me. I Arnold sewer and am 76 and been sewing since I was seven. Please help
stop playing with me, stop play with ya boy! Im weak lol. Thank you for this video very helpful. First time sewing every! Im always watching your embroidery video clips. Please more sewing videos.
I’ve been had my machine for a while now over a year but I usually just do embroidery. I want to try to sew now , it seems easy enough. With just about the same steps that I take for embroidery so I think I got this. Thanks.
Thank you sooooooo much for your videos !! Bought my machine a month ago and I’ve been scared to even touch it and I feel so prepared to hem my own clothes after a few of your videos thank you thank you !!😩😤😤
Thanks brodi I’ve learned a lot from your content…. I’ve never sewn anything as was intimidated by my machine till I watched your videos … gave me hella confidence… THANKS AGAIN
Awesome! Do your thang and thanks for sharing. Got my machine on it's way but ordered the thread ahead of time from your link. Excited!!! Can't wait. Thanks again.
I love your videos! I've been researching which machine to buy and you've convince me that this is the one! Unfortunately it is out of stock :( Hopefully they restock soon!!!
Lyndsi Leon I’ve been trying to get the SE600 for several months, finally last week I found it on Wayfair check and see if they still have them in stock!!
Thanks for the videos. I couldn't find the se600 so I opted for the lb5000m. They seem pretty similar besides the stickers on the machine. Your videos have really given me confidence. I don't know how to sew but I am learning. Please keep up the good work. Your videos are great and really show what you're doing. Thanks 😊
A Dude I know by now you are good. Hey good info to your girl. I am a 68 year grandmother. I m a self taught seamstress and costumer since age six. When I see the school people on You tube I get a cold shoulder. But I don’t always start a procedure the way they do l still get very good results. I the way you preceded with the skirt, but I would trace top of the hem with chalk of some kind and you could sew faster. 🧑🏽🦳
Thank you for your helpful video. I bought SE600 from someone with missing parts, like the attachment part you put the foot on to operate sewing, the digital part you put into the machine, the tools, and the sewing table attachment…. I bought 32 feet, the electric leg part but still doesn’t work but it’s brand new… My question to you is, where can I find the missing parts and if you know their name? I appreciate any light you can shed on me. Thank you, again!
I learned how to sew more than 50 years ago. Clothes for my kids, many quilts, but all on very simple, inexpensive machines. I've been watching your videos using the Brother SE600 and have made the obvious hints to my hubby. The SE600 seems a great machine to make embroidered pieces for my 6 grandchildren. I am very intrigued by your thread collection, its case, and the thread holders on the spools. Is that your own creation or a kit that can be purchased? btw! You are doing great with your sewing.
Hi Fern, I, too have sewn for more than 50 years but just got this new Brother machine yesterday. It's going to be a learning curve, but I sure appreciate Allan's video to start using this new machine. I was intrigued by the thread & box, too. I found it on Amazon, so here is the link for you. www.amazon.com/dp/B07CP3B7GY/ref=sspa_dk_detail_5?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B07CP3B7GY&pd_rd_w=hficr&pf_rd_p=48d372c1-f7e1-4b8b-9d02-4bd86f5158c5&pd_rd_wg=eQ62s&pf_rd_r=Q8ECEYJESXC1X4AXCR89&pd_rd_r=c4b68a53-6bae-4fae-b82c-9e05a67f659a&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyQkNLNldLN0ozQUtNJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDAyNTMwM0NEMEdDWldZUEpSQSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNzU3ODQ0MTdJS1ZQMklNTDZGRyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2RldGFpbCZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
Sucks that I found your channel after my amazon purchase. It’s gotta be hard for you to gain much commission if many are like me, I bought the machine first, then searched on how to use it. Not sure why I would search how to use something I haven’t bought yet. Nonetheless, great tutorials, glad your not a super pro and give out the idea that your learning like us. Thank you!
Your fabric might be bird nested under the needle plate. Bird eating is cause by not threading your upper thread properly. Retread your machine with the presser foot lever in the up position.
hi.. i have a few questions as a beginner..PLEASEEEEEE help me out if anyone does know the answer to it..i was looking to buy brother se600.. Question 1: what thread should i use?can i use normal sewing machine threads with SE600 to sew? or must i use embroidery threads even tho im using this machine just to sew? & if u could share a link on amazon maybe for the thread u recommend on this machine to SEW, and what bobbin do i use? Question 2: i liked this machine bcoz i dont know anything about sewing machines(always have done it on hands) and everything seems easy on this with thread and tutorials..my question is, is this the best machine for sewing or would u rather recommend something else? Question 3: do i need the foot pedal to sew or does it have the option of automatic sewing?i'd rather do it without it.
Hello I have the same machine. I wanted to see if I give you and image , if your could create a file for my brother se 600. I would pay ofcourse. Please let me know
Thanks. That makes sense. Sewing is clearly not my expertise. I appreciate the advice of people like yourself. That’s how i learn. For some reason around the time of me making this video i thought that the stitch wouldn’t be neat once I flipped I over onto the right side if I were to sew it on the wrong side.
@@adubbproductions once the automatic needle threader broke on my se600 (about 6-8 weeks after i bought it brand new ) i just let it collect dust honestly
