Debbie, I follow a few different tutors and you are far and away the best I have found. Such clear instructions and you demonstrate every step in real time, thank you, Ax
Fantastic! Had a lovely time making this for my sister. Can't wait for her to see it. I'm a complete beginner and had no trouble following the instructions. Everything turned out great.
Just finished this bag in one quick and easy evening. I like smaller bags so reduced the 19” to 17” and the 13” x 4” to 11” x 3”. I also widened the strap to 6” which gave me 1 1/2” wide finished strap. I’m not alway lucky when I make changes but this still came out perfect. May try this again with a more rectangular shape. Your videos are just that good. Thanks for fun projects😊
I’ve made lots of these bags. Friends have asked me to make them one. I also made them child sized as party bags for my granddaughters party guests and they loved them.
Super easy and really pretty! Thank you Debbie, your videos are not only easy to follow, but are quite soothing if I may say....sewing is one of my passions so this video was such a pleasure to watch!! Thank you so much!!
Imagine that, I just sat down today and made the pattern for your other reversible handbag much like this one. I showed my neighbor my finished bag and now she wants one. I'll be making 7 more, Christmas is coming! I love your tutorials. :)
Oooh I am going to make this today if I can! It's so cute! I think I will still follow the reversible instructions but machine sew the side, I hate hand sewing. What a great bag!!
Love this bag. Made two from your book and your previous tutorials on this bag. It’s fab to make and fab when it’s finished. Made me feel like a genius Debbie. Thanks so much, Susan x
This bag was the first thing I made by watching a YTube video on my new fangled IPad😁….. some hrs ago now. I have it hanging in my bathroom with cotton wool balls and some lovely smelly things. I must make some more for Christmas gifts😘. Loved the choice of fabrics used for this bag.
Nice and easy to watch and listen to as well as uncomplicated to sew. This was a confidence building project for me following your tutorial a few years ago. I think I want to make this again with a matching wallet to gift for Christmas.
I love this bag! I already made 2 of them (following your previous video), one for me and one for my sister, about 2 years ago. And last week she asked me to made another with autumn colours.
I also made two of these for Christmas presents last year, from one of your books. Such an easy sew, & loved that they are reversible. Mine were for keeping knitting needles & wool in. Great video.
Another fun and interesting video to watch and listen to while I hand quilt. I feel like I'm going to be stitching this forever! LOL, Thank you for this video!
Hi Ms Debbie. This is perfect! It is independence month here (27th October and hubby's birthday). I will make this bag in our national flag colours - blue, yellow and green. Thank you.
Hi Debbie, I’ve just made this bag and I love it, but think it would be nice with dividing section with a zip at the top. Do you have video showing how to do this please?
Hello Debbie, I like very much your reversible bag and would like to make it for my daughter Jane whose favourite colours they are but, I cannot find the floral batik fabric. Can you help. Please
Where are the measurements? love your tutorials Debbie. They are timeless, easy and like the other lady said make you feel so clever once you've finished.
Teresa if you are relatively new to RU-vid then you probably are not aware that part of the page below video is hidden from view. Many of us new to the site don't read description part but when we do we find the words SHOW MORE highlighted or Click here for more to let us know there is further information. Presenters sometimes add this to end of their video after numerous comments stating description, materials required, instructions/pattern cannot be found below video Sometimes even when you click on show more link there is a fault in page and the presenter does indeed need to be advised so they remedy situation. Hope you found it okay
