How To Sew A Scrappy Strip Quilt- Start To Finish

Today I will show you step by step how to sew this scrappy strip quilt using a pre-cut jelly roll. I think this is a perfect quilt for any beginner sewer or just somebody that has never made a quilt before. I will also give a rough estimate of all the costs for this quilt to give you an idea on how much it will be to make. I hope you give this a try and thanks for watching!!
Rough Cost:
Jelly Roll- $35
Accent and Sashing 1 Yd.- $5
Border 1 1/2 Yds.- $10
Flannel for Batting 5 Yds.- $35
Backing (old sheet) $5 - 5 Yds. (if using yardage)-$30
Crochet Thread, Thread etc. $10

Thanks for help. Found it. And made it move with needle up because have 1/4 “ foot on. Currently doing real scrappy thing to make a machine cover. See it on my instrAgam. You remind me of my grown sons. Treating your mom very well. Stay safe. I will be following you

I LOVE THIS! Somethin’ about the squares! Love your videos bc they make it simple for me. Thank you! Soooooo, I had 2 small Jelly Rolls, the same. I made a JR Race quilt and it did NOT work! Not enough different fabrics. I tore it all apart. It’s Halloween prints. I went and bought 3 solids to mix in. I wonder if I can do this. Would it look too busy?

Hi I have same sewing machine. Can you tell me how to move the needle to the right or left.?? Knew to your channel. Liked this And never used jelly rolls yet.

If you have a singer heavy duty machine, there is a dial on top of your machine i between the tension dial and the stitch width dial. Some machines don’t have this function. My old singer does not.
