How to Sew Ribbons onto Ballet Shoes - Step by Step Tutorial (Good for Flat Leather or Satin Shoes) 

This is how I have always sewn ribbons onto ballet shoes. Of course, there are different ways to do it, but I have always felt this method leaves you with a nice clean line of the ribbons up the ankle as there is no gathering from the drawstring casing.
