In this video I show you how I trim, shape and enhance my beard at home using the following tools: 3D/ CHJ Pro Trimmer with Andis T Outliner Blade using the Elite Clipper Mods Bracket, a wooden beard comb, Beard Oil, Pacino's Beard Pencil, & Barber Pencils. I have a similar beard ! Do you recommend ever using a guard with or against the grain on the sides ? or just trim whatever sticks out? I always end up losing my bulk when trying to even my beard out lol

I would recommend not using guards aside from fading it in a little but if you wanna keep the fullness only trim

Honestly a 3 way mirror is really helpful. You can do the bottom one side at a time that way but if you only have a regular front facing mirror I start in the middle and work to the sides

It creates a strong dark to light effect that makes the hair line pop and look thicker/fuller. Kinda like an illusion 🤔
