Today I bring a carbon steel knife, a very common and good knife, but it was dull. In this video I show how I’ve recovered it, leaving it with a good cut. A double-sided whetstone 120/320, from Carborundum, was used. An easily accessible whetstone, which can be found in hardware, lumber, butcher shops, agricultural and utensil stores. I show you the easiest way to sharpen a knife, when the edge is not turned and when the edge is turned. In this case, we also have to use a honing steel.
