I'm a male that shaves everywhere sadly I had to shave any direction to actually learn, once you are shaved like in a day or 2 you can see which direction the hair are growing for future reference, you'll probably have lots of ingrown hair for not doing it properly at first. Not sure if everyone's hair grows the same direction depending on the area example by beard goes like in 4 directions. Maybe use a scissor first to try and see the directions.
Just see the hair...in which direction it is pointing...the hair down there is always pointing downwards...so take the razor and go from up to down....not from down to up.
I’m 17 and every time I would bring up shaving down there my parents assumed it was bc I wanted to “be grown “ and “have s-x” but in reality hair carries odor and what about me having to wear a bathing suit 😭
@@theyylove.L sometimes w nair like for 5 minutes or shave in the direction the hair is growing !! And make sure to exfoliate the hair to prevent bumps and it to be dark down there and also for ingrown! But I had to learn myself
@@nyxnox777it just itches when it’s growing back. I’ve gotten used to it. Maybe you aren’t shaving it completely down?? That causes itchiness too. You can trim it w a trimmer and it’ll not itch.
You can shave up after you’ve shaved down for a cleaner cut, but you will probably get irritated skin and ingrown hairs if your skin is sensitive. So it’s better not to

People are just showing appreciation for the video. Not everyone has a parental figure to teach this kind of stuff for them. Plus, it’s RU-vid. No creeps are going after you. Kids share weirder stuff on platforms like tiktok or Insta. If you so choose, you can be hidden on RU-vid. I think it’s amazing for kids without support to be able to find this kind of safe content online to help with puberty.

Foe the swim wear comments, coming from CHILDREN.... It's Creepy that swimwear for CHILDREN would require them to shave down there. Clothing for children under the age of 18yrs old, should not require to shave that region. Nobody should be able to see that area. Even in adults, nobody should be seeing that area either. Mens swim wear doesnt show parts of private parts, so why do fashion designers make swim wear for women and girl CHILDREN that shows parts of their private parts.
Yeah. Because people are creeps. I never wear bathing suits. I only look at adult women in bathing suits, not for long though. They shaved. I never want to wear bathing suits. Only shirts and shorts for guys. I'm comfortable wearing guy clothes. ☺️

Okay I’m not sure anyone will see this but I did a bunch of research to find the best way, hope it helps you. (If you find anything wrong please tell me because I will be using this method too!) Exfoliate with a gentle scrub, natural oils or fine grains, like a sugar-based scrub 1-2 days beforehand in circular motions for 30-60 seconds. Then rinse with warm water and pat dry. Use an unscented and gentle moisturizer afterwards. (I’ll be using Cetaphil) Once the 1-2 days are up, clean the area with a gentle facial cleanser without salicylic acid, and warm water. (CeraVe is my choice) Use a sharp blade and rinse it with hot water before and after, shaving downwards with the hair. Don’t shave upwards. (Gillette Venus razor is recommended) Moisturize again and avoid tight clothes.
I wouldn't recommend using conditioner on your kitty. (Maybe if its fragrance free, if its a last resort and you have NOTHING ELSE) That is made for your hair/scalp NOT your kitty. Some will argue ad say well it's both hair.. well NOT the same type of hair NOR for the same area!
NOOO DO NOT LISEN TO THIS GIRLS IF U WANNA SHAVE DOWN THERE THIS IS HOW You want to get a shaving cream NOT EVER conditioner and ALWAYS shave downwards NEVER any other way and make sure to exfoliate after DO NOT LISES TO HER ❤️❤️

@@rebahound2023 honestly i was terrified to ask my mum, but i figured i'd wait until my period and lightly complain that its starting to get hard to clean down there and ask if i could shave, it worked and she was surprised that i hadn't already started shaving in the first place 😭
I'm a guy (if it makes any difference) and I've been shaving myself down there for years. I always shave along the grain so it's not quite so short, otherwise if going against the grain or will be a lot shorter, but you will get razor burn and none stop itching for the next few weeks
This is good to know! Not gonna like I’m afraid to talk to my mom about how to do it. I did shave a couple of days ago but didn’t do it right and I think I might have ingrown hairs so next time I end up shaving I’ll try this thank you!
It hurts so bad to have hair on the kitty, but also on the lips too, ouch!! However if I may give advice to the younger girls on here, don’t disclose your age(s) please!! You may end up attracting creeps & weirdos trying to talk to you if you share your age, so just keep that in mind! ❤
if you have ingrown issues the razor shes using is the BEST and change the blade each time…only thing that help’s ingrowns if cleanliness, sharp fresh razors and exfoliating!
@@zarshbusybee its called a “safety razor” the brand VAN DER HAGEN has some. the best choice is an all metal one imo just be sure to dry it with alcohol after use and use a new blade each time!
@@zarshbusybee it’s a safety razor. I personally have a pivoting had one and I love it it’s by leaf shave you can Google it. I have the model called the leaf. It’s the best of both worlds with the pivoting head of the plastic ones and then the smoother shave you get with the safety razor and also lasts way longer. Blades are way cheaper and you don’t need to replace them as much and it’s interchangeable and you don’t have up to have to have a particular blade any safety will do. Great thing about the leaf is you can actually split them in half. It actually requires one and a half safety razor. But yeah Google it if you’re interested. The safety razors them selves especially the leaf are more expensive. But it’s worth it in the long run and I have said goodbye to plastic razors and basically where have you been all my life kind of thing.😊

Girl I feel you! (Im 14 too, i promise I’m not a creep 😭) But just remember that shaving is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. Body hair is natural! If it wasn’t supposed to grow, it wouldn’t!
This is so bad girls..do not shave there i shaved there A LOT of time just like what they say and i got bumps and it is so ichy although i applied cocnut oil and used high quality products...the skin is very sensitive there , so please just use to trim with ✂️
i will say for me i don’t like shaving it all off bc the stubble when it grows back is a sensory issue for me.. but i have some electric razor for down there that doesn’t cut the hairs at the root so it’s like a little trimming 🤠
Also, y'all, please do NOT use a plastic razor - go buy a safety razor. They're cheap enough and sooo much better, not only for you but also the environment and your bank account
im below 16, above 10.. but im Italian so like.. i grow hair so fast/so much. i never rly knew besides js going down.. i have an electronic razor so i feel so weird just doing it bc everyones gon know. ive had horrible self care (showering, brushing teeth ect..) but its summer.. and im just like “what if i cut myself there” since it hurt once.. idekmwhy? i think i may of,cut a bit
They have special hair removing things you can use? (lotions.) They’re painless, and you don’t cut yourself with them, lol. I recommend trying those, just make sure you get the right ones and spot test if you do!:)
@@purerens Yeah! Sorry for a late reply, never got a notification. For me, I use nair, you can find it at Walmarts, (Kroger’s depending on where you live.), but you may be able to find it at a cvs!:)

did you do it in the shower, exfoliate and use a shaving butter/cream? Just dont shave any direction but with the grain. if you do nick yourself while shaving, add some vaseline or something on the area and then tend to it after you are out of the shower. trust me, dry shaving is a recipe for DISASTER
And what abt if you have like a lot of hair there and like it hurts shaving bc of long length? I’m not trying to be weird in any way I just wanna know.
Tysm i'm in 6th grade,and i've had hair down there since i was in either 3rd or 4th and im to scared to ask my mom bc it's rlly embarrassing bc when i ask my mom to teach me with my armpit and legs she showed me herself by doing it on her self and i rlly don't wanna see that,this helps!But what about the shaving up?Everyone is saying it causes irritation,and i don't want that.
Oh. Then don't shave. I first got it at 15 I think. I'd always get irritation and prickly skin. I could never get super smooth skin. I stopped shaving everywhere and Idc what people say. It's my body. People smell worse than me. I shower and freshen up. I always wear long shirts and sweaters so who'll see. 😊
