Shortening the hydraulic brake hose with banjo fitting.
Measure and find out the length you want, I use the cable guide as a guide.
Take out the brake caliper. Loosen the bolt and then cut the hose to the desired length.
Noting that the original banjo that comes with it is not removable, therefore, it has to be replaced with a new one.
A banjo fitting comprises a perforated hollow bolt and spherical union for fluid transfer.
It comes with the adapter, nut and o-rings. You’ll also need to install a brass olive with it.
Put in the banjo nut, insert the brass olive and then plug in the banjo adapter.
Tighten the nut with the 8mm wrench.
Put the o-rings at both the top and bottom of the banjo and then secure it with the bolt.
Bleed the system and then adjust the brakes.
