Hello again Angela…this is a great video however my challenge is shortening the sleeves on a men’s double cuffed French cuff shirt. I have searched for a solution and can’t believe there’s only ONE video on YT…the problem is she’s a bit hard to follow

Angela, I need to clarify something. When taking up the sides and arm of a men’s dress shirt, do you sew it on the outside of the shirt and then flat- fel the seam? I have never done this, but am being asked to take up two shirts for a client and shorten the cuff. I’ve got the cuff, and was going to do the easy-peasy method, but I would rather finish it the “right” way.

Yes, when flat-felling you need to sew it on the outside.
