This is about transforming the way others see you 1. Know your worth. Your worth is not tied to others' opinions 2. Present your self with dignity (Don't waste your energy on impressing others. Comfortable in your own skin. Set boundaries/Say No - Self Respect) 3. Limit access (You are not putting everything out. Be selective with who you are associated with) 4. Show "Show me, Don't tell me" scenario. Let your actions to show the boundaries. 5. Be ready to walk away 6. Focus on actions, not words 7. Healthy skepticism (Not taking everything in its' face value and being little logical. Watch and be mindful 8. Power of saying "No" 9. Never chase (Stand on your worth)

I met a guy on a dating app and I developed a crush on him really fast. We talked back and forth for a about 10 days in really long paragraphs. But then he didn't respond to my message for two whole days which upset me. I didn't want to run after him since so I just unmatched him. I took a lot to do this because I thought "oh he might just be busy" but I won't tolerate any bullshit or being treated poorly even if I like the person a lot. It hurt me a lot because I liked him so much but everyone has 30 seconds in their day to respond to a text message. If you don't respond to me within an appropriate time frame I will assume that you are not interested anymore and move on. I hope I can find someone who will also show me affection and respects my time and efforts.

“Your worth isn’t tied to someone else’s approval.” So many of us still are learning this lesson years later. Thanks for the excellent points from Stoicism. 😊🌻 Yes, excellent Marcus Aurelius-still valid thousands of years later. Never compromise your values just to fit in somewhere, (even in your own family). So true. Agreed! This is beyond any “dating world,” for stoicism relates to many real facets of one’s life. No one needs to date to feel comfortable about oneself even if one is young. Nice points on Mindfulness too, which is a core practice of all Faith Families’ traditions as well. 🌷But in Faith, we ultimately work for God Almighty, not ourselves, nor our egos-slight difference. Otherwise, nice. “Focus on Actions, not Words.” Really true. Quran Sura 18:55, “And when they hear Vain Talk, they turn away therefrom and say: “To us our Deeds, and to you, yours.” Quran 18:77, “For God Almighty does not love those who do mischief.” God is the ultimate Stoic and Conductor of this Universe. Sura 12:17, “Those who believe in the Qur’an, those who follow the Jewish Scriptures, (in origin), and the Sabians, (ancients), Christian’s, Magians, and Polytheists,-God Almighty will judge between them on the Day of Judgment: for Allah is witness of all things.” Sura Lail/The Night: “He who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient, and the lie to the Best, We will indeed make smooth for him the Path to (internal) Misery.” Never be a miser if rich or poor. Sura Light/Noor, “Thy Guardian Lord hath not forsaken thee nor is He displeased.” (No original Sin concept in Islam. Man can be good; man doesn’t have to be Evil. It’s a Choice). Fall of Many Great Empires comes from Selfishness, Lust, Greed, Desire for Excess Power, Chasing what doesn’t belong to you: Sura The Spider, “For you (humans) have taken for worship idols besides God, out of mutual love and regard between yourselves in this life; But on Judgement Day ye (humans) shall disown each other: and your Abode will be the Fire, and ye shall have none to help.” True Helper is God Almighty-much better than worshiping one’s self, for the human self can be selfish with too many complaints and desires, causing one or an empire to Fall by way of the Lord’s Path. “Worldly Power cannot through Sin defy the right, as was proved in the ministry of Lot; nor can Intelligence misused stand in the Place of God’s Light….the strength and skill, the beauty and power, of this world’s Life are no more than a Spider’s Web, flimsy before the force of the Eternak Verities that flow from God Supreme.” Summary of Chapter The Spider in Quran by A. Yusuf Ali. 🌹

These suggestions have made me the person I am today. So take one or two or all of them and transform yourself to a super being. Thank me later. I personally did and do everything listed below and I got massive results. 1. Write out a statement of your Short Term Goal AND your Chief Aim/Main Goal... on a "goal card" or paper. 2. Write it out 50 times a day for 30 days preferably around the same time each day. After the 30 days, you go back and write it out ONCE a day. This is your compass in life. 3. Set your phone alarm to go off every 3 hours (to disrupt your daily routine) and when it goes off write down your statement and then close your eyes and see yourself with your goal for 2 mins. 4. Record your statement in your voice on a voice recorder on your phone, and play it back to yourself on loop while you sleep and as often as you can daily, example... in the shower or when you are using the rest room. 5. Find an accountability partner. If you cannot find someone, then you MUST write out your statement DAILY. By doing this you make yourself accountable to YOURSELF. 6. Find a community or FB group/group chat, etc and from that community form a Mastermind with one or two people who have studied from REAL Mentors and are giving VALUE. There is a "Law of Giving" and many people are using it. Andrew Carnegie told Napoleon Hill this back in the early 1900s. Its a LAW and it works. Its what I am doing with this post. 7. Auto-Suggest (Think and Grow Rich Chapter 4) to yourself in front of the mirror in the bathroom at least twice a day. Look directly INTO your eyes OR one eye and recite your WRITTEN statement. Then splash cold water on your face. This sudden shock seals the thought into the subconscious due to emotional and physical shock from the cold water. 8. Write out ten "I AM" statements a day. example. I AM happy, I AM more confident. Use the word MORE; implying you already have it, but want more. You trick the brain. 9. Write out 5 things you HAVE that you are grateful for and 5 things that you are grateful for that are coming to you. Mix up the list one after the other. 10. When in public tell people you see that you love them in your mind. Simply say "I LOVE YOU" to them as you pass them, especially when driving, because their subconscious hears and FEELS the intention. Say it to about 10 to 15 people daily. This increases your Good Karma. It might seem like a lot. But it took me less than two weeks to incorporate the list into my life and 32 days later I started getting massive results. What have you got to lose, try some or ALL and see your results. Let me know know too. Have a great day... and thanks for reading.

Thankfully my journey of self discovery and spiritual awakening has helped me practice this in every aspect of my life beyond romantic relationships. Family and so called friends have been on the receiving end of my boundaries, detachment, and stoicism. It's been healthy for me but created distance with them which is more than fine with me because it's better to have your peace, self respect and dignity alone than to be around those who don't value or respect you but claim they do hoping that you'll operate from fear, familiarity, or history. It's NEVER been hard to detach from those who have mistreated me because actions do speak louder than words and living in an illusion is far more to your detriment than the truth. We're worth it no matter who thinks so!!! This message is confirmation so much appreciation for sharing this wisdom🦋.

Thank you for this post… I found it very resourceful. I may return to watch it again. I feel that my experiences have given to most these points - sadly- the hard way. But lessons are learned that way for them to stick hard and to be part of my daily life… these points need grasping, internalizing and constant implementing to have it make me a better individual….. Thank you again for this post.

Good message 👍🏼 But I would replace the word "react" with "respond". "React" has a negative connotation!

OUR CONSCIOUSNESS IS THE ULTIMATE REALITY, THE VERY FOUNDATION OF EVERYTHING WE EXPERIENCE. THINK OF IT LIKE A STREAM, WITH THE CONSCIOUS AND SUBCONSCIOUS AS ITS TWO PARTS. UNDERSTANDING HOW THESE PARTS WORK TOGETHER IS KEY TO HARNESSING THE POWER OF OUR MINDS. THE CONSCIOUS IS LIKE OUR PERSONAL FILTER, WHILE THE SUBCONSCIOUS TAKES IN EVERYTHING. AND WHILE THE CONSCIOUS SHOWS US THE EFFECTS, IT'S THE SUBCONSCIOUS WHERE THE REAL CAUSES LIE. IT'S A BIT LIKE THE CONSCIOUS BEING ACTIVE AND ASSERTIVE, WHILE THE SUBCONSCIOUS IS PASSIVE AND RECEPTIVE - LIKE TWO COMPLEMENTARY HALVES OF THE SAME WHOLE.

My Muslim BF of 3 years broke up with me over our differences in opinions in regards to the Israel/ Hamas conflict . I’m a converted Jew ( 40 years ) and my heart and compassion is for Israel . Justice for Israel’s citizens and hostages ! We had a great relationship before October 7th and now the love of my life has turned against me . I have to accept this and move on with my life .
