Great tutorial! The only thing I don't like about this way of sidechain is that the line of sidechain is not smooth enough. And creating automation line manually really helps to solve this issue.
Awesome video mann! ❤️ Straight to the point. Btw is there any difference between using sidechain compression and conventional sidchain (just ducking the volume)?
Hello, do you know how to apply a Precompression to the sidechain before the transient ? of the kick as exemple so there is no noise before the transient of the Kick ?
@1:24 - noob question. @1:16 - @1:24 area when the Kick pattern is copied then pasted into the Sidechain pattern, the channel rack initially shows entries for the Kick, but then those go away when pasted into the Sidechain pattern, which now is the only channel that shows entries. Since this is a copy/paste, not cut/paste, my mind was struggling to understand why they disappeared from the Kick line in the channel rack. I noticed that the "pattern" was changed during that process before the paste, but I'm not really seeing why the channel rack entries disappeared for Kick. Thanks for any thoughts.
