Hello everyone! I wanted to make a video on how to sing better instantly because I feel like this would've been useful when I first started! I don't go to singing lessons and use no vocal coaches (not in person, I do gain a lot of knowledge from different vocal coaches on youtube). Anyways, this was how I improved my singing and some tips I found useful that I've collected over the last couple years. I have a lot more easy singing tips that I use, but these are the biggest ones I can think of. Some additional tips for peeps!: - Drink a lot of water 4 hours before you sing (got this from a vocal coach). -There is something called 'breath support'. Try singing standing with your hand on your belly, breathe from the belly, and lay the other hand on your flank (?side of your belly). Get to know your body while singing. You take a deep breath in and your belly grows, and with the 'hard' notes you can feel the flank going out on these hard notes. That's your support. - With 'a-a-a-a-a' singing, like a warm-up practice, try laughing the notes, 'Ha!-ha!-ha!'. With short pauses. It gives you some power behind the notes, and really helps you with confidence. I really like your demonstration about mentality and singing! With up and under the finger!

Tip: Don't scream. It helps to try not to even talk loud. Your vocal chords are delicate and you need to save them for singing (you don't have to lol. Only if u wanna be able to sing better)

i just shaved my head yesterday!! my hair was dead and falling out from over bleaching it. i didn’t really have a choice and just decided to shave it! it’s only been a bit but i can already tell i like it!i i just wanted to say that i’ve been watching ur old hair vids and they been really therapeutic and have helped me get in the right mindset about my hair! My biggest Insperasion is Olivia Rodrigo. I keep my own style but I get it from her! I really like emotional songs that are meaningful and I love singing different songs from her exactly the same as The song goes but I put my own taste into it

I've grown up in a pretty musical household (mom used to do karaoke for a living, older brother is in an indie band called Bad Night for a Hero, you can find them on RU-vid and Spotify) so I wanna say I've been singing since... 7-8 years ago, if not even longer? I've only just now started to really practice and improve since I want to try posting covers online and I've been noticing a lot of flaws in my singing over the past year (constantly changing pitch without meaning to when singing high notes specifically, which I feel like I'm getting better about by singing in my natural voice instead of imitating the singer) Thanks for making this video!

@@KaylaRose I actually learnt the piano it’s not hard just learn the notes and then you just need to know the chords or notes of the songs, I never bothered to learn sheet music

You sounded so good when you sang over your finger! I've always looooved singing and have always done it, but tbh I don't practice like I should. I have improved a lot since my teens where I most would just yell lol It was bad 😆 The thing that sucks sometimes is my vibrato. I just can't do it on certain vowels and my runs are pretty wack lol But I'm trying

my hobby is singing and i know i sound bad bc the note the key is off and the main problems I don't learn singing yet bc I have short breathing I wanna learn singing when I alr can control my breath bc it's affecting my singing but now I still don't know how to control my breathing but I will after I watch ur video hehe

It would probably be good to copy singers that you admire, but you should eventually find your own sound. I've been singing and playing piano for more than 30 years. I have also been writing music for over 20 years. I can think of many artists who have influenced me over the years, but I eventually used those influences to develop my own style.
