Ive been watching a few of your videos on whistle voice and you might be the one of the few who able to explain it with technical knowledge and with complete demonstration. Thank you so much!! I kinda get some of it out but it's still bad on exhaling haha I get it easily on inhaling but I dont wanna make it a habit because I know it's not good

At 2:51 a car outside with squeaky brakes was stopping at the same time. I was like, how is she doin that in stereo like that? Then the car stopped and I realized what just happened lol. Thank you. I have put this practice on hold, until could have way better control over my voice. I think I'm ready now lol.

O M G were have you been all my life

I just learned how to get my whistle to start two days ago and I didn’t know anything about how to make it go and every one of your exercises made it made it go a little bit Then right after watching your video and because I knew what pitch to get to because of your video cause I really didn’t know exactly where my whistle range was until This video showed me. I been ain’t able to get it to go at all when I get into my whistle even though it would make me laugh. I mean it if I let it make me scream, I could whistle a little bit but after the video and seeing different ways to set it off I was singing in Smule or StarMaker and all things Metallica nothing. Else matters on an orchestra version, and I was in my head voice going all over the place and all of a sudden I started feeling funny and I the pressure usually around my nose on both sides of it suddenly went to the outside of my cheeks. My throat got really loose and I started feeling my back vocal cord fixing to try to work which I mean I’ve been Been feeling that in the last couple days since I could start the whistle, so I kinda knew what was going on is like I was staring at them but god that was an intense. Adrenaline rush me and I cursed a little bit and felt like I sucked in several notes and pressure and I choked again and cursed again and then I whistled everything that I just said there’s like screaming whistles like I was crying and laughing by the end of it. It was awesome! O I whistled “ohhhh! F*^**. Ohhhh s***! Ahhhh probably for 15 or 20 seconds. It triggered when I screamed though because i’m guessing the compounds are body uses in the case of fear and overwhelming happiness, or astonishment, or what really took over there, but that had not freaking done your video. I wouldn’t have been broke enough to do that probably I did that a couple more times afterwards though, I’m trying to keep it off the swearwords and obviously not as many words if I’m going to scream myself into it, that’s not really the goal here I’d rather be able to talk tomorrow lol

I tried many things to find my whistle register but it was a little loud so I searched it up and apparently I was singing in super head voice. Do you have any tips to make the difference between them and how I could turn that into whistles?

Why I keep holding my breath every time you do the exercise, the high register lol! It's 10:37pm here so I can't sing with you lol

How do you practice the muscles that tense in your throat for whistle tones without damaging? I can do it but struggle onve i get to higher notes where at first i can kind of do it but then it starts to hurt when i keeo trying to practice and cant hit it anymore

:( I still can't seem to do it. When doing the creaky door exercise, does your voice just sort of snap into whistle from fry? I'm getting some new sensations from when I imagine pulling in, but it's a bit hard for me to rationalise the pulling-in feeling (but still exhaling). Do you feel like you are engaging any other muscles when your fry 'snaps' into whistle? My fry eventually stops and a focused stream of silent air comes out. I'm also thinking that I might have some neck tension. Also, how much air and how quickly are you pushing air out? Your whistles are so loud and rich! Thank you for making another whistle video :)

What does it mean if I can only hum in the whistle register? I can't make the air flow out though my mouth. Maybe it's just habituated since I'm constantly told to shut up with my absentminded singing. (vocal stimming)

The link for your whistle voice worship isn't working for me

I was watching this video, and I was very surprised. I never thought I had whistle register. But, are you talking about notes above D6? Where the only vowel you can sustain is "ee?" The highest note I have ever sung in front of an audience is E natural 6. Is every note up in coloratura territory necessarily whistle register? I just thought of it as head voice! Did I find it and not even know it?

I'm a 17 y/o male with a range that spans G#2-F5 and have been trying to add notes to my lower and upper half, I've always theorized that my constant allergies have sort of messed with my tone and head voice/falsetto (idk if it works like that). Trying these techniques, I've been unable to produce any sound other than air. I've seen the creaky door/vocal fry technique, but am unable to flip into whistle. Any thoughts that could help me out?

Try lifting your tongue higher in the back..... the higher you go the higher the tongue lift in the back.

You have the same problem everyone has with these tutorials - there is absolutely nothing linking the technique with success. Could you explain WHAT you are doing when go from “creaking door” to an actual note? No one even attempts to explain… just do it and leave anyone who can’t intuitively get the physicality right trailing off…
