This guy is a genius!! I've been confused on this concept for years and I don't know if I understand it but this is the closest I've gotten to understanding! CREEKY DOOR OP!!
The way you explain it in your other video, I was finally able to find my mixed voice! But I know I’m straining and having a hard time trying to fix it on my own. Thank you for this!
Anyway you demonstrating is a very good help to a very low-voice person like me.. You give hope that we can actually sing.. Nice Video!! I will subscribe to you immediately.. here, now pressing the button!!
This video is awesome! I watched like 20 videos from other teacher but in this one was way more and way better informations than he said. Thank you for helping me with singing!
This guy helped me sing my D4 to G4 without pulling chest. Although it still sounds like it's my first time singing but it is a start. I can go for an A4 bit it still sounds wimpy.
Hello Jay, I’m a girl and I really want to improve my singing skills, during so much time I was searching for vocal coaches on RU-vid but none of them were able to explain it well, then I found you. Now I understand my mistakes more clearly and I can identify them. Thanks to you I’m very motivated and I will start my practice program today
@jay jae ,, i am a singer at pub ,, i vahe a band , a resident band at that pub ,, and i sing every fuckin night ,, First time i watched your video .. And Alhamdulillah , thanks God .. Your technique has saved me .. I was struggling with straining , pulling chest voice all these years .. And i ended ruined my vocal chords ,, soar throat , etc ... I love You Man . I love u so much ❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉👍👍👍 U are the best vocal coach i ever watched on youtube !!!!
Brilliant! Thankyou. I’m having trouble in the mix with eliminating creak / fry. Is this a strengthening issue? Will more clarity come as I strengthen and practice?
Thanks your videos helped me a lot.I started using higher voice placement and I get rid lots of strain. My question is if I practice Elvis or Sinatra low pitch songs I have to lower voice placement a bit to get more “beefy” sound, but still I’m trying to keep heady “ring” to sounds more resonant….Is that all right or in your course you teach to use one placement for all songs?
Im an 18 year old guy and my highest note that I tested using GStrings showed that I can hit up to F#5, I wanna know how to expand my range higher than that.
Idk how do I explain this but I actually able to reach high mixed but unfortunately I got sick "cold" and after I got well now I can't reach my high mixed taking a lot of efforts but still I can't
How come when I look up how to sing high notes, it says to sing at the bridge of the nose and high notes is slightly above where the third eye would be? One episode of Kelly Clarkson she pointed to vocal placement she sings from is the bridge of her nose, stomach and her ear. I don't think she meant at the same time. What are your thoughts Jay? Maybe you can make a video about that. I thought the complete high placement vibrates at the bridge of the nose.
It's a feel. It's really hard to explain mix voice in video form. Start low by making it sound twangy and nasal. And try to go up and down with that voice. It'll sound bad but that's how it is when you're starting.
