I'm trying to buy my first pair of hockey gloves, I tried on a pair that was size 14 but seemed big, they were ccm's however I tried on a Bauer vapor and I believe it was 15 and seemed to be the right size. I am 6'2 and my hand measured 7 1/2 from tip of middle finger to base of palm.
Should the tip of my fingers touch the end of the gloves when i put it on? my hand measure 7 3/4 inch and when i try on a 15" inch gloves my fingers tip doesn't touch the tip of the gloves when it is close or open. Which size should i get?
I measured my hand, and it was 6, so it was 12in, But Since you have 7, or 14in, I was worried if I did this process wrong, I'm getting my first full hockey kit, and I was worried if I was doing this process wrong. Thanks!
hi, good sir. i followed your advice. when i measured my hand, i got 6.5in. so if you multiply that by 2 , should be 13". i bought reebok 7k kfs 13" just the other day and it looks enormous on me. covered half of my forearm. is height sort of relevant to the size of the gloves? i'm only 5'2.5" btw. if so, what size should i be getting?
This is not a question about gloves------I am 12 years old, about 160 centimeters long, is 26'' leg pad to small for me? Im not very good at english but i hope you can understand me anyways?
Great video. I measured my hand like Tyson said at it was 14 inches. However, when I tried on an Eagle 72 in 14 inches, it felt too big. Basically i had to push down on the glove to get my fingers up in the gussets but then part of my wrist was up in the palm of the glove. Do Eagles just run big? Would the Bauer 4 Roll fit the same way? Should I go with a 13 inch glove?
I'm literally about a 13 1/2... Too bad they don't make half sizes. My finger tips sit comfortably touching the end. But I'm a lacrosse player too, and the gloves are snug in lax so I'm used to the tighter feel. With that being said, at that point would the right glove to choose just come from personal choice?
So i bought the bauer vapor x60 gloves in a 14" after using your method, but they fit too loosely on me. It is my first time using hockey gloves ever.. Is this just something i should get used to? My fingers are where they should be, like you demonstrated in this video. But i feel like I could use a more snug glove. What do you reccomend, and can i modify the fit of this glove at all to make it fit tighter? Thanks alot
I heard the 4 roll pros run a little short on the fingers. Is it true? And I measured my hand like Tyson and it measured a little over 6-1/2 in. and I just ordered a pair of 4 rolls from it online store...should 14s be fine?
at the moment i am using a reebok glove in 14" which is too big for me, so i used the elbow pad measurment method which was about 12". i am a 16 year old girl, about 5"4 tin height and i have actually really small hands. i was thinking of buying a warrior glove, would a size 12 fit me?
Hey, I have size 12 gloves and they are too small for me so I decided to get new gloves. I went to my local hockey shop and tried on a lot of 13" gloves and they all seemed too big, what do you suggest I do?
+Dominic Hockey hey im on the same boat as you my measurement was 12.5" and the gap between junior large and senior small is ridiculous. what did you end up going with and what felt better?
I always thought I had very small hands. I‘m 5‘7“ and always wear a size small in normal gloves. But the only measuring device I have with inches on it says that my hand is 6,7“ long. I‘m pretty confused as to a 13“ glove would fit me or if I‘d rather try a 12“
Best way to know your glove size is to measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Multiply that number by two and that's your glove size! Brandon at IW Hockey
my measurement size is 12.5", senior small (13") feels a little too big like i have alot of room to shake my hand around inside and the gloves fall off if i leave my hand open and they just look really big compared to my size (im 5'6" and 21 yrs old), but junior large (12") is a little too tight and my fingertips are hitting the end and feel a bit constricting (although ive only worn brand new 12" gloves i havent tried broken in ones, what size should i stick with? which size would be more beneficial ?
