I love that in this video you can see the before and after ceiling colors! Is there a point when you get a fleece in and it has so much vegetables Matter that you don’t process it?
You mentioned mites in the fiber. Will the mites live on the fleece/fiber until it is washed and should I wear gloves to skirt to avoid other parasites etc?
The mites need a host to survive so once the fleece is sheared the little buggers are gone. So you may see evidence of them example skurf or weak fiber....:) when working with raw fiber you should make sure you are up to date on your tetanus shot.
Tetanus lives in the soil. You're supposed to get boosters every 10 years. I've asked about and most people just wear gloves until everything is all clean. Rather safe than sorry!
