Hello Dylan, I wanted to share a quick little story about my experience with the advice you offered in this video. I went back to my listings and implemented your strategy in the titles of my listings and BOOM! I began to see the number of visitors to my store almost triple in two days. Now my store is very very new, and not generating massive volumes of sales ( Yet ) but everything you mentioned in this video and other videos has been 100% spot on and I see the results almost immediately! Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom and experience with all of us here on RU-vid, I am excited about growing my Etsy business to a level that allows me to finally walk away from my day job! Cheers.
@@AstroDestination putting 24 hr sale for 3 days is not "1 hour" XDDD we all know it was clickbait - catering to the ego's want for instant gratification, but info in this vid is still useful
I literally wrote a whole paragraph on my experience on Etsy and why you shouldn’t be given false hope to start one and why Etsy is very bad to it’s sellers and it literally got taken down by the creator as a blacklisted comment😂
I love your perspective and explanations so much. It’s nice to hear an actual business and marketing side of this rather than everyone else that makes Etsy seem like some super easy “side hustle”. Thank you for being real.
Well, as a beginner to Etsy, I found this completely mind-boggling. Obviously, you're doing extremely well, and your YT's are appreciated. I couldn't or wouldn't even know where to start with all this in an hour. I like Layman terms easy to understand. What people like me really need is someone to look at their shop and help them to get it up and running, with the extensive knowledge you have. After all, someone like me isn't any threat to an entrepreneur like yourself. Physical help is what we need.
So glad you got value! If you're looking for more help on this, feel free to reach out to me on instagram or facebook -- instagram.com/dylanjahraus/ facebook.com/groups/dylanjahraus/

I have two shops: one for reiki and healing and the other is for childrens book illustration and editing services. I know both are difficult to figure out how to boost them, so I will keep researching! Thank you! I have a few ideas from this
love the concise actionable tips! question: when you mention the facebook group strategy- are they usually buy and sell groups? (most other groups usually prohibit promotion of goods)
Some really useful tips shared thanks Dylan I'm new to Etsy thought I had all my i's dotted and t's crossed but picked up some more tips here. Kind regards Jacqueline
Thank you for your great work! : Another tip for your videos... infographics, statistics with %, data and graphs really resonate with about 30% of viewers who are more analytical and it increases value perception. :)

Hello Dylan, thank you for your time making these videos. I have a question, when you say "duplicate listing" with a different SEO, do you mean to have 2 or more listings of the same products moving the pictures in the same store? Thank you!
Would love to help you out and chat more about this. Feel free to reach out to me on IG @DylanJahraus and send me your questions there. Make sure to use the code "ETSY1"

can you elaborate the Facebook strategy? What exactly do you do on groups? Do you share your products' links only? Also, what kind of groups would work the best?
You have a nice store with good products but haven't been making MORE sales yet due to some strategies you haven't implemented. Are you open for a conversation?
I have a free 16 step checklist that you might enjoy. If you message me on IG I'll send you the link for it. It would help your shop! @DylanJahraus. Message me with "CHECKLIST".
Such good tips! I just need to figure out how to get creative with jewelry. I feel like you can only describe a pair of earrings in so many ways. My other shop is print on demand shirts and sweatshirts. I try hard to research multiple keywords etc but I still can’t get consistent traction.
More great advice. It was right there in front of my face but I could not see it. Thank you for showing me. Where were you when I started? lol. Keep up the great job with the videos
Thank you for the video. Could you explain further about the Facebook groups strategy? I’m sure it’s deeper than just joining groups and soliciting your product right? Most groups consider that spam!
This was really helpful thank you I didn't even consider mobile view and I really should have considering I'm a graphic designer! I'm just used to having social/sales briefs handed to me by marketing people rather than having to think of these things myself! hahah!
I JUST opened my store yesterday! Can you tell me more about these FB groups... Are they seller groups or customer/seller groups. Do you just post what you have in your shop. I guess what I'm asking is what do I look for when looking into these groups?
Hello Dylan thank you so much for these wonderful videos they've really helped me. I'm wondering if you would be willing to help me I'm trying to figure out when you're doing printable wall art and there's so many ratios and I see on so many shops people are putting they get all five ratios does that mean that you do like 25 of the same picture and then just put it in Zip file? I'm very confused on this and no one can seem to help me can you help me
I hope that's alright if I share what I do in my shop 🙂 you do the largest size of that particular ratio(so that if they wanted to size down, the quality stays the same) not every size that exists. So for example for 2:3 ratio, you'd only create 20x30in design (it can be scaled down to 16x24, 12x18, 8x12). Hope it made sense 👍 I had the same question when I started my digital shop so..good luck ✨️
@@proudlyselfmadeblog Yes, that makes great sense! But also if the buyer did choose to scale down to a smaller size, how do they do that? And wouldn't the image loose some sharpness / definition in the scale down? And the file size would have to be huge for a 20" x 30" digital file at a printable 300 dpi. How/ where do the buyers download their digital purchase from?
Appreciate the information , making adaptations. Trying not be discouraged because I am an artist and a lot of what I market is heavily saturated in Ai artwork Etsy has seen an explosion of Ai generated artwork

Thanks it maybe worth showing these actions on the site on a sample Etsy account, I'm now scouring the internet & reading Etsy help on how & where to turn on offsite ads
Hi Dylan, Great advice, I'm definitely going to take a look at my SEO after this. Would you recommend using repeated keywords/tags for different listings that have the same use and are made out of the same material? Would this increase the chance of the products being seen or do they need to all be completely different?

You went through the Facebook part pretty quickly. Many, if not most, Facebook groups specifically ban any advertisement from group members. Is there something I'm missing here?
You said you have students that you help I am very interested in that. How do I get into this and the new viewer of your channel is the first time I ever heard or seen you

I have a question and hope you can make a video one day (if you haven’t already): how would you promote Etsy products on the Facebook groups? Many don’t let you promote products/services (at least the ones I’ve been in)
This is something that I go very deep into in my program with two dedicated lessons just to this. If you're interested in guidance here definitely reach out and I can share more info on the program.
Quick question - if we have a product that isn’t selling, should we delete it and create a new listing? Or is it better to edit? Or just make a duplicate? 😅
If similar products are selling, you don't need to delete it. You probably don't have good SEO which will rank your listings higher insearch or your store isn't well setup. I can help you to do these.
Hi Dylan, I'm learning a lot from your videos, thanks so much! But I have a question about making multiple listings for the same product, after changing pics, title, keywords, etc. Isn't that against Etsy rules? Or are you not saying to run the listings simultaneously? Maybe I'm misunderstanding. Please clarify when you have a minute. (Multiple listings for the same product?) Thanks in advance ❤️

Hi! Thank you for all the great info my question is what do you do with the inventory for physical products if you are duplicating listings? Do you split it up? Or does Etsy know that it’s the same product listing?
You have a nice store with good products but haven't been making MORE sales yet due to some strategies you haven't implemented. Are you open for a conversation?
From my understanding Etsy removes any punctuations and symbols which leaves a space between each word like you suggest doing. But for the customer they see a bunch of garbled words which in the Etsy handbook says not to do. We have been playing with both options to see which does better.

Ok,but what to do if customer buys 5 duplicated listings and after realize that those are the same and asks money back for 4 listings? Is it good for shop?
Usually they will go for the listing that targets them...if they were to do this you send a message and say hey noticed your purchase the same item 4 times, do you want to continue and at the point you can fix the order before pushing it through to completed
