As a dude who lost his sense of smell at the age of 7 and has been trying to figure out how smelling works for the last decade this video is an absolute lifesaver.

A little summery for myself so I can come back to it. SHOWER: Do it for 5-10 mins every morning and during the last 30 sec set the water to all cold. Use natural smelling soaps. Put deodorant on your clean body. CLEAN YOUR MOUTH: Twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night. Scrape your tongue especially in the back. Bring some minty gum if you are eating. APPLY A UNIQUE FRAGRANCE: Buy a fragrance that's unique to you. Don't buy a bunch or cheap perfumes. Buy 1 or 2 QUALITY fragrances. Quality > Quanity. Experiment and get a fragrance that feels authentic to you. Put 1 or 2 puffs on your wrist and neck. Less is more. Only apply your fragrance on a clean body. So after you shower. Also try to moisturize your skin so it sticks longer. CLEAN YOUR BEDSHEETS AND CLOTHES: Clean your bedsheets every 2-3 weeks. Change your intricate clothes like underwear daily. Make your room smell amazing because the smell of your room can be absorbed into your clothes. Open up the windows every now and then to allow fresh air to get in.

Before watching this my roommates complained that I never showered (and it's true) I was too busy watching anime and looking up lewd anime girl pictures (which I am now ashamed of) to shower. Also I played basketball and the opposing team wouldn't guard me because of my stench. I never really noticed it though. After this video, I'm gonna start smelling good! I don’t shower in the morning regardless if I use cold or hot water, it makes me feel tired either way.

As a fellow college student, i do agree. I used to not be bothered about it until recently i noticed a girl who smelt like strawberries one day. That made me realize how powerful simply smelling good can be. I do all of the things you just listed above. Shower, wash my hair, deodorant, shower gel, and oral care and skin moisturizers. I have been doing these for a little while now. I haven't had any compliment or instances where people notice it. But i feel a a lot hygienic, and confident.

This guy has it right, but as others have mentioned, the cologne isn't possible for some at hundreds of dollars. I'm pretty obsessed with cologne, mainly the blue or "clean" smelling cologne, and I have a couple I would recommend. My favorites are: Michael Malul Ocean Noir ( $100~) Yves St. Laurent Cologne Bleue ($90~) Clinique Happy for Men ($25-$90~) These are all the clean smell type, all have had many compliments and generally tend to last fairly long. Ocean Noir is my best kept secret EVERYONE likes that one. Covid took probably 50% of my smell, so to me, these are some of the things I can smell rly good. Thank you for reading all this lol. I’m not sure if it’s proven to be true or not but I’ve heard that applying petroleum jelly to the areas you apply cologne before doing so helps the scent last longer, One suggestion I do wanna make tho is to get into the habit of shaving your armpit hairs as often as you can. W video btw

Amazing vid man, it helps a lot. The only thing I disagree is for the lenght of when you are going to change your bedsheets and stuff. If Iremember correctly you said to change it every 2-3 weeks, in contrary, I believe you should change it every week. It depends on your personal liking tho :)

perhaps this video is from europe market. because here me in indonesia... we do all things like you said in the video. Every morning we get shower COLD SHOWER. brush our teeth, wash our hair. spray some parfume, and after we do a daily work... we SHOWERED AGAIN in the evening 16.00 or 04.00 PM..

Fow washing hair I think that every 2-3 days use a natural shampoo that removes excess oil but keeps hair moisturized and for the days that you don't lightly exfoliate to the scalp with water.

As a Brazilian i'm horrified hahahaha I shower 3 times a day, brush my teeth after every meal and floss it and yes i wash my hair every single day, i really recomend that y'all do the same, your tips is a good starting point but that's not enought for sure

Any backups if im not able to shower in the morning? I already shower at night, and i would in the morning, but my bus comes at about 6:45, and my showers take kinda long, and i dont really know if i can wake up super early without getting everyone else up on accident.

It's important to say that not every body works the same bc for example if you wash yourself to often the body will produce more sweat or if you wash your face to often it can be that you get more pimples. And some peoples bodies react more and other less

step 1: shower. step 2: for goodness sake use clean clothes step 3: deodorant after a shower. never use it when you’re sweaty step 4: brush your teeth step 5: wash your hair step 6: if you like cologne, use it but in small amounts. hope that helps :)

Also please please PLEASEEEE dont use too much perfume its so annoying when someone walks in class and then the entire garden of eden walks in and shoots your nose with a blunderbuss.
