In this video I will walk you through my method of smoking Aldi Pork Ribs.
These Ribs are readily available at any Aldi store across Australia so you can try it at home for yourself.
A lot of people use the 3-2-1 method for smoking pork ribs but I'll show you my way which produces beautiful tender ribs with a little bit of chew but still has nice bark and clean bones. Plus a nice little side dish of corn that will melt in your mouth.
I'm hungry typing this!
Enjoy.
Check out my other video of How to Manage your smokers fire.

Wow, just found (and subscribed) to your channel, love it! Love that you are doing “ everyday cuts” like Aldi ribs showing you don’t need to spend heaps to serve your family great bbq. Roughly how long did you have the corn parcels on? Cheers and thanks

Thanks Garry, We really appreciate the feedback and glad you enjoy the channel. With regards to your question only about an hour is required for the corn we find. Cheers

What wood did you use to smoke them mate? Great to see an Aussie do bbq 👍
@RedSmokeBBQ
@RedSmokeBBQ 3 года назад
Thanks Matt, I usually burn Iron Bark hardwood over a bed of charcoal and briquettes in the offset, if your using a Weber or Bullet and using charcoal you could use hickory, Apple, Cheery wood chunks. Hope that helps?

@@RedSmokeBBQ cheers mate, I'm using a masterbuilt 560. I have done ribs with cherry but I just got some hickory and apple wood and can't decide which to try next.
@RedSmokeBBQ
@RedSmokeBBQ 3 года назад
@@mattorwin6560 I would go cherry, hickory will have the strongest flavor so build up to that. I am personal fan of Hickory but most people I know prefer the apple and Cherry for pork ribs.
@RedSmokeBBQ
@RedSmokeBBQ 3 года назад
@@mattorwin6560 start with Cherry move up to hickory, most people I know prefer the cherry or apple wood for pork ribs. I personally like the hickory but it is stronger and a little bitey compared to the fruit woods.

@@coopzaa I have had mine for over a year now and yeah I really like it, it’s not the reverse flow model as that’s only just come out. We also bought a mate one for his 40th and he loves it. We just got back from a BBQ comp in Warwick and one of the teams were using one so good endorsement. Interested to see how the upgraded version goes.

Did you use any smoking blocks, or just rubs and sauce?
@RedSmokeBBQ
@RedSmokeBBQ 3 года назад
Smoking blocks do you mean would chunks? I usually just cook using iron bark wood in the offset.
