Interesting, i just bought my grillgrates and in instructions it says dont use skillets on top

Good video, Dave. I’ve been using GrillGrates for years as well as the grate griddle. I haven’t tried Duckfat on wings yet, but will soon!

Directions 1Place separated wings in bowl and spray liberally amount of Duck Fat. Add salt and pepper to taste mix well. 2Move wings away from one channel and position the holes in over the flavorizer bar. 3Add pellets or chips and turn that burner on high. Turn other burners on low or off. Allow pellets to smoke until desired smokiness is reached. Once reached, carefully move grates over and push the pellets through the holes. 4Heat grill to medium/medium high . 5Turn frequently until golden brown. 6Once temp reads 185 F, baste wings with sauces and continue to cook turning and basting once. 7On the wings basted with garlic butter, sprinkle with parmesan

I thought you couldn't put a pan on the grates?

Great video I use grillgrates and they turn out good q.I have the smoker tube and it works great.I believe grillgrates are the wave of the future,convective hot air is dying a slow death. I found all the claims by the manufacturer to be true.
