That is such great advice - that if you feel a bit uncertain about whether to intervene or not - better one time too many than too few. That is great comfort to know, when you (as I) feel that you are still learning.

Tyler! I have a love, hate mind set when a client sends me one of your videos. You don't want a dog to build confidence you want the dog to become balanced.

Overconfidence can certainly become a problem!

Great, i think you never want to tramatize a dog.... also, if both want play, i try to always watch the mouth, the mouth shows the intentions because they are making the choice to hurt or not hurt the other dog.... they can and must control the strength of their bite ..... y/n

It is possibly a displacement behavior.

I guess it could be but maybe he’s just thirsty or he needs some bloodwork just to make sure his kidneys are good

Yes that certainly is possible. My time with him was very limited so it is hard to say. He had been in his kennel for a few hours prior to coming out so definitely could be that he was just thirsty. The trainers who were working with him daily would have more insight. I was only there to assist with socialization sessions.
