If you're having trouble sticking the jump consistently, here's a protip. Go into first person, climb the wall and look above you. You'll see the edge of the floor above you. To stick the jump consistently, make sure you're on the >>right>> side of the edge, otherwise you risk hitting it while jumping causing the jump to miss. I think this varies from race to race due to hitbox differences, but as an orc male this made it a lot easier.

After about 6 hours of practicing i can get to the boss 95% of the time. the only times i have major issues is when the adds at the start are spiders, my fail% is high with them if i can't get them grouped up from the start. Very good video!

If anyone is interested I've used this to make it extremely easy to duobox it. I put my warrior in the middle to tank and deal damage and I put my healer in the "safespot". This gives me enough time and breathing room to do it easily, since it's not a problem if my healer gets aggro, which is an issue with the spiders and bats for example.

After 200 arena runs with no chest drops, I discovered your video and thought I should give it a shot. I was lucky enough to have Gorosh spawn 4 out of 11 times or so and finally got my savage gladiator chest. Thanks!!

been waiting to drop a comment here but I finally got the chest! I started already at lvl 55 and been doing this on and off now until lvl 59. I am surv / marks specced so just wanted to say it is possible at lower lvl only had problems with the spiders since their net causes you to fall down but with higher lvl you will resist it more + take them down faster. I pretty much kept my pet in the corner as it could change position a bit while returning to it's stay position and of course had to be more cautious with its health as it's less tanky. Until I got a hang of the jump I pretty much stayed up on the gate the entire fight.

Awesome tip! I started doing this as lvl 57 mm / survival specc though with weaker pet I just used it to pull mobs and then put it on passive. I also stayed up on the gate for most of the time to play it safe as I failed a couple of times with the jump. Managed to get to the boss most of the time and the boss itself is super easy when it's melee

Shauny D I'm really having trouble soloing this, i have pretty much pre raid bis aside from that chestpiece and hard to make groups to farm arena, when scarabs spawn I can't do anything plus even If I do just jump up there it doesn't work they just evade and reset and despawn on a timer is there a way to solo the adds other than worms/lizards? like bats spiders or scarabs and how exactly do you do it

practicing for 5 days straight, still having major problems with the mobs. First the snakes, some of them do the path, some just keeps shooting you from far. Same thing with spiders, some of them shoots webs that makes you fall. the only mobs that I don't have a problem are rhinos and bats. those are easier to kill. If anyone have tips for me I appreciate it

Hoping to use this strat combined with other kiting starts to be able to solo this as elemental shaman. I think it's doable but im not sure ill be able to work this strat in. It may be possible though since fire totems have their own threat table. Not having feign is the big issue

Pack makes it easier to stick this jump, but even so it's not really possible to nail it every time. I'm pretty sure this is ping related (as if you are pressing any movement keys when you land you fall forward). Maybe this is possible in the US, but with a 100ms ping it's too flaky to work reliably.

I get ranged down by the worms and by the Anub, the spider boss. Don’t think this works anymore.. at least not we’ll on those mobs. Could potentially still work on melee initial mobs + gorash but i haven’t gotten that combo yet

From my experience, if you get the spider boss just skip... if you get snared by him you fall down which just fucks everything up

You can actually solo Anub'Shiah if u pull him FD so the gate opens and then just LoS his shadow bolt, once he gets close run to the other gates and LoS again until he dies. It is also possible to do this as marksman and still do 5 runs before the 1 hour mark, you can also kite Gorosh with aspect of the cheetah in circles in the arena and use multi + autoshot everytime he uses his whirlwind which speeds up the kills.

This is a great method for not needing the key. Works smooth until I get to the point where I need to FD and bring the other ads back , when I FD my pet disappears or moves from stay unlike in the video and screws everything up for me. Tried it about 5 times now and always do just fine until I need to FD it messes everything up. Anybody have the same issue? or know what im doing wrong? Maybe its patched.

Okay, I have done this solo 130 times so far with a total of only seeing Gorosh 17 times. Doing this 6 days straight, just wondering if this chest piece is worth me losing my sanity over. I personally do this as marksman and find the pet heal talent isn't really that important. The only thing that has stopped me from soloing this is when the spiders spawn and constantly nock me down off the spot, it is very rng if they decide to web you or not. I also use a bear for this as it can eat mage food and is a tanky brick wall. I noticed a few people mention bosses be problems below so here are some tips: Anub'shiah you just can't solo because of ranged damage. Ok'thor with a bit of luck you can kill be still isn't worth the trouble. Gorosh is the easy one ofc, just keep him away from your pet most of the time as he has heavy damage. Grizzel also keep your distance as he does a move that will knock you down off your spot. Hedrum is just as annoying as the spiders as he will decide to web you every now and then which nocks you down. Eviscerator I just wouldn't bother using traps as his anti-magic shield is constantly up, but get serpent sting and hunters mark up inbetween it.

Nice guide. Out of 10 tries, I only managed to kill a boss 1 time and it wasn't even the one. The packs are weird for me, they spawn two times (same mobs x2 they come from 2 different doors, is that normal)? At different times, with a 5-10s delay which is enough to not keep one pack together. When one pack is down, the other is up. I tried just killing one pack (the other doesn't aggro unless I pull with pet), but then the other despawns, and the event is messed up. Also after some resets, I got teleported to my HS location. Such a struggle :( Like you get just 4 snakes, I get 8.

This works just fine, unless toe boss is the blue ogre caster one. It somehow 'sees' me on the gate and shoots at me.

Did first run, everything went as expected via the video. Then for the four attempts after this (before being locked out of the instance), every time I jumped onto the ledge the mobs started evading. I tried testing the ledge jump dozens of times, even pulling mobs into the arena from outside once arena despawned just to see whether it was my jumping - but failed every time. I'll try again tomorrow, but maybe this was hot fixed live or some type of "if this is being repeated more than once it'll start evading?" I'll try again tomorrow to see what happens.

you dont need to go BM, im doing it as MM and never res my pet (untill i fail real bad which should not happen when you get enough practice)

You should try out soloing angerforge, I'm in raid spec so it's a lot harder than it should be but I still manage to pull it off most of the time. HoJ is one of the BiS trinkets for **alliance** hunters in phase 1, which is kinda shitty. Can definitely charge people for HoJ drops if anything.

Looks like if you take too long to pull the 2nd pack, they just despawn and the event is effectively over, you have to reset.

took me 6 runs, i've seen that rare boss 3 times in a row the first 3 runs, then a 6th time and got the chest O_O did this easily with 0/31/20 (dm tribute spec)

So this keeps getting labled as bis, I got lucky to get a mail chest drop in sunken temple with an "of power' suffix, which gives me a grand total of 74 ap on it.. is 2% crit and 14 agi a better trade off to make it worth farming this?

I don't understand, I've been trying the strat but when Snakes spawn they can just shoot at you on the ledger. Also, the Spider boss just throws massive shadowbolts at you at the ledger.

I have tried to do this about 5 times now. The mobs just stand there and say evade. They don't run out of the arena. Eventually I have to FD. When I do that they kill my pet. Not sure why it works for you and not for me.

You only need 3/5 in Frenzy for near perma uptime. The extra 2 points add like 10dps or something super negligible, swap 2 into Spirit Bond or Cheetah move speed imo.
