@stefanoscha
@stefanoscha 5 лет назад
@TenThumbsProductions Hi man! Thx for the video.. i have a question.. for am (or c) its easy to “add” the second/third/fourth/fifth scale as well because there is plenty of room at the fretboard.. but if you want to transpose lets say to em (or G) it means that for the first scale you already are in the middle of the fretboard so there is no room to go from there to the right to add the second/third/fourth/fifth scale! So you practically can play only first (maybe second) scale..how you solve this issue? Can you add scales to the left of that fist scale? But how? The second scale has to be right from the first and the third right from the second etc, right?
@juliusostertun8142
@juliusostertun8142 4 года назад
I have the same problem. Can anyone please explain how to solve this....can you also transpose in the other direction?
@juliusostertun8142
@juliusostertun8142 4 года назад
This might be the solution...you can transpose up and also down....if you use the 5th shape of the a pentatonic shape you can transpose up to the eminor pentatonic scale

I so want to understand this. I have a Baritone D G B E
@TenThumbsProductions
@TenThumbsProductions 5 лет назад
Shelly Diane that means your principal shape would be E minor. Open D string, 2nd fret. Open g string 2nd fret. Open B string 3rd fret. Open E string 3rd fret. The root is the open E string on the bottom, you can transpose from there. Hope that helps!

@@TenThumbsProductions thanks but I didn't understand a thing you wrote. Sorry...would love to see a video on this
@TenThumbsProductions
@TenThumbsProductions 5 лет назад
Shelly Diane it’s basically this video, but I don’t have a baritone. I’m referring to the notes for the E minor pentatonic. Google E minor pentatonic Baritone Ukulele, and just play that first shape over and over and then come back to this video. And see where you are at. It’s all about learning that first shape, once you have that the next step is learning to move it.

@steveachelis
@steveachelis 5 лет назад
My mind is exploding! Let me see if I have this right. An A minor pentatonic is the same fingering and fret position as a C major? So your example of the F major (with the F note on the fifth fret of the second string), that would be the same as a D minor pentatonic scale (with the D being on the fifth fret of the first string)? Kaboom!
@steveachelis
@steveachelis 5 лет назад
Oh! I found your majors/minors video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3DOvU2-TTTA.html). To answer my question, yes, but its a major scale, but a **pentatonic** scale. Whew. Bitch'n!

@TenThumbsProductions

Okay 😂 I’ll just stick to the music. They have the exact same notes, they are called relative minors. C is C, D, E , G, A and A minor is A, C,D, E, G, the exact same. So, yes, is C major pentatonic shape 1, and yes, it is A minor pentatonic shape 1.
