I was extremely skeptical about this. But it does actually work. I live in my truck in Colorado. Lately it has been fluctuating between 90 degrees in my truck during the day to well below 20 degrees at night. I thought this was the cause of my Dell G7 turning off when I unplugged it. I thought I'd have to replace my Dell G7 after owning it for only 5 days. Thankfully, this video saved me $1,300.

After trying many other battery management settings, THIS WORKED FOR ME! It might not work for everybody, it depends what caused the error in the 1st place. Give it a try, its worth it.

I have a similar issue and was wondering if anyone can help. I can't open my laptop without the charger. It will turn off but shut down after a minute. My battery is charging fine however, as soon as I unplug the laptop it will shut down after around 10 seconds. I have tried everything to fix it but can't do it.

I tried it, my laptop stayed on without a charger for about 20-30 seconds then it turned off. It didn't really fix the problem. If I put my mouse on the baterry icon it shows that it will only last for 3 mins even if my battery is full, and it won't even last 3 mins.
