How would one do this with Excel 2016? There is no Power Pivot option to get into the data model? I don't think you can "edit" the data model in Excel 2016 so I keep getting stuck with un-ordered slicers. So annoying.
@jamespyle6398 You can edit the Data Model with 2016. Select File > Options Click Addins on the left At the bottom is a drop down arrow Change it from Excel Addins to COM Addins and click Go Place a tick in Power Pivot and click OK This adds Power Pivot to the Ribbon if you don't see PowerPivot in the list if addins, unfortunately you have a version of Excel that PowerPivot wasn't included in (not all versions of 2016 included it)
@@MikeThomas67 I tried that but the option was not there. Could that be that our admin at work limited it and didn't allow that options? Or is it because I have 2016 standard and that add-in is not available?
@jamespyle6398 I think you need to have Office 365 Professional Plus version for Power Pivot to be available. I don't think it's available in the Standard version of 2016 :-(
Same problem here. Power Pivot was only included in the standalone version of Excel 2016, and - unfortunately - we have Office 2016 installed. Microshafted, indeed... :'(
