So sorry
I learned most of British accent in less in a couple years watching Harry Potter. conclusion: If your heart wants to learn it or find it fun or fascinating ,you'll learn it easily. for me, I don't even live in a "English speaking" country ,people here struggles in English a lot here. But for me I simply was amazed by this accent and didn't have any intention to learn but later I find out, I build up one in me!
I don't naturally have a British accent but I learned and perfected it by reading harry potter books because I had to figure out exactly how they talked/sounded and I learned it myself while reading, so now I have a very believable British accent 😅
Thanks you so much for providing this opportunity. It has been very long time that I'd liked to learn British accent as a student and I found it useful for my future job. After watching your video, I could say that I am feeling more confident and comfortable. Because I've tried hard to make my accent to be similar to British people. I look forward for your videos. Best of luck.
It's funny how this is in the recommendations on my One Direction account I mean, of course it's related, but not in a way I thought RU-vid would recognize
hi I m from India recently shifted to London , I m trying to learn speaking English in British accent for job interviews. thank you for your video , if you can make more videos like this it will appreciable , thank you take care
Hi there! Thanks for watching. Job interviews are a great motivation for learning. I also have a video about them on my channel and that might be helpful for you too. Good luck 😊
I remember just goofing around one night, and swearing up a storm in the most British accent possible. Not even intentionally, and ever since I have been able to speak in a British accent.
as an australian i am very self conscious about my accent for no reason at all. i feel like when im scrolling social media and i come across someone with my accent i cringe inside. it doesnt happen in real life because i am around lots of aussies. thanks for this tutorial!
I always confused about the British words and American words, as well as the accent. I'd love to sound like more british but the problem is it has been a habit for me to say t as d in water. It's hard to change some pronunciation I used to say with American accent.
honestly my british accent has gotten sooo good by just listening to louis tomlinson talk and sing like if I sing a sing of his then I sing it in an accent and I love it 💙💙💙💙
As a British person myself, I disagree. Why does everyone keep saying that he has the “perfect British accent”???? His accent is a Yorkshire accent - but that doesn’t mean that it is the *standard British accent*. Also the way that you people keep saying “Bri’ish” is kind of offensive. Btw no hard feelings I’m just kinda stating the truth -_-
Exactly, an example is obvious in England alone, have it North and South with just the 'T' down South they pronounce it but up in the North we hardly pronounce it
Thanks everyone for my first 1,000,000 view video! I appreciate all the English learners, One Directioners, Harry Potter fans and whatever other groups are here. I filmed this video a couple years ago when I still felt quite awkward in front of the camera. I now upload videos for English learners every week, so if you like what you see, I'd really appreciate it if you subscribe! :) :)
I really want to have the british accent so bad because it's sounds satisfying and the accent is very cool tho thank you so much for teaching us the accent. That's very helpful. love from Malaysia❤️🇲🇾.
Hi teacher❤ . My name is Sujatha from India. I loved your way of your teaching, thank you so much for your video and explained clearly. We are expecting more videos from you.
I'm Brazilian and I'm study English language since my teenage, As usual in my country we're learn American english, but I always loves and have some identifical with British cultures and others stuff from there, nowdays I'd love to improve my Brithsh accents days by days.
I'm in love with British accent& really good, I remember when I used to watch "Reign" and Adelaida said "No more sacrifices" ,this how it begins. I was 13 and kept speaking every English word in british without learning any rules but just because I loved it. If this isn't love, tell me what it is😂❤
I completely agree with what you say about accents and why we should be proud of them. I will post a Spoken Word poem about this tomorrow, this is really a coincidence 🙋🏽♀️
Hello I am Indian, I love both the British and American Accent So much, That's why I am trying my best and working on these two accents to learn it and want to speak it fluently!😁When I get bored I pick up some videos of Your Channel to watch and Try to Learn Something better!☺️ Thanks For Making us understand about differences Between them!
As a Russian student,I spend pretty much time on speaking English with the British accent which isn't so simple actually.Sometimes it's very difficult for me to distinguish between American and British accents. So,I start pronouncing words in one sentence with different accents. However, these difficulties don't prompt me to hate the language. The English language is astonishingly rich and beautiful via the plethora of words and phrases which make it unique in comparison to other languages. This is why I'd like to continue learning it and working on improving my pronunciation. Thanks a lot for this video!I wish good luck to everyone learning it as well!
@@valentinanderson535 bit late, but as a certified Englishman I can’t say that we do. Usually the T is rather well pronounced or skipped entirely depending on where you come from
I liked your information. I was born in the UK (Tottenham) but have lived in the US for over 20 years and sometimes I fear that I am losing my British accent, so this was a nice brush up. Cheers!!!
I have an emotional need to learn this... I have some friends who can just do the accent easily, and they often just start speaking in the accent and using british slang for a comedic effect whenever a moment arises-- I'd love to be able to join them one day, its so much fun even just listening to them talk like that, calling each other bruv or twat or something.
i love how i keep finding myself switching from my typical american accent to a british one randomly recently and then this pops up while i'm looking for smth to watch
Oh myy i was just listening your podcast on spotify before searching for some videos on yt as well, and so i clicked here without knowing you were the same person i could listen all day. Thank you for your hard work!
im ukrainian, but i study english in my school AND I REALLY INTO BRITISH ACCENT ITS SO AWESOME. btw my eng level is b1 so sorry for possible mistakes guys. hope someday i will know this wonderful language as advanced;)
I'm asian. And I'm just realized that i speak almost all British but with American accent (?) The reason why my American friends sometimes misunderstood what i mean 😂😂😂
Thats really not a good thing. I mean, She should speak tagalog fluently cause she's literally in the Philippines, She was borned there. I bet Jose Rizal and etc is mad at you right now. ((my opinion))
@@ri-san8465 It's a good sign in terms of progress in English - but of course, forgetting your native language isn't good. I find that the better I get in a second language, the more I make mistakes in my native language! It's a confusing thing. But thankfully, the native language will always be there so there's nothing to worry about. Thanks for sharing your views
Just a few months ago i realized one thing that i love british accent more than american. Btw, i have american accent and also can speak in a strong russian accent😂if i will try hard (but honestly i dont like it cuz it really sounds like u r speaking russian by using english words. its very noticeable and it seems very funny to me, but very easy to pronounce) sooo i decided to practice british accent; but i dont sound natural yet(
You will sound British one day, I am sure. I am Indian and I am learning RP British accent although I have a pretty Indian one there on my tongue but it is lessening so I know you can and will to:) XOXO All the best mate!
