How to Speed Paint Epic Tyranids In 10 Min! (No Airbrush) 

I was a bit behind on some sleep making this video and I kept saying "Venom" when I actually meant Carnage* 😄Whoopsie.

This is exactly what I was looking for, this model would look excellent as part of a hive fleet on the table. Nice contrasting colours, and quite an organic look. I might add some bright spots to mine on the back to stand out. Excited to try this now.

Emerald is such a beautiful color

After some réflexion, a deep blue zenithal priming over black could bring some interesting colours on the carapace. I'll might try it, would be interested to share the results then

Could you have used the GW contrast Lahmian medium and maybe take away the shine effect?? Just wondering not really questioning.

Love your videos, so much so I have to try to mimic your color for my new bugs. However Vallejo seems to have changed or dropped the wine red, do you know the paint number or the replacement color? seems to be close to violet red. Thank you! edit: Just noticed the reds were AK lol.

thanks for the turorial. i just speedpainted a beastmen army from bestarium miniatures and used a youtube tutorial for this. sadly he didnt mentioned the exact colours he used and it took me much longer to finish the project and to be honest it was a pain in.... to figure the colours out. could you please tell us the exact paints and paint brands you would use for each step? if you want to paint a whole army you will have always problems to replecate the same recipe if you dont have the exact colors.

I would not agree that in a speed paint process using enamels takes ages. It takes a while to dry but in batch painting, it barely makes a difference and considering they are easier to control and correct i would say it actually cuts the time down.

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but every time I try to do the highlight via drybrush, i cover much more than what i actually want no matter how much I dry the brush ._.

Total newbie question but for the step with the carapace with the dry paint do you just get paint on the brush and wait for it to dry? Also if thats the case would you recommend doing the base sponge coat on 4 minis or so while waiting for that paint to dry and then applying the dry coat to them all at once?
