internationally ME goes international!! :P Poland was such a beautiful place and I wish I had more time to immerse myself in the local culture/lifestyle but I did thoroughly enjoy my 4 days here! P.S to my Polish viewers: I had a pretty packed schedule + jet lag but lets do a meet up and hang out next time for sure :D!!

There is a difference between a castle and a palace. A castle is build for defence. This means that it has mainly small windows and high walls and next to no decorativ elements. On the other hand palaces are build to impress people. In this case they have large windows and a lot of decorations.

I'm not from Poland (Czech republic is close though) and I can definitely recommend Krakow, it's a beautiful place (and I loooved food there). On the other hand, try visiting Treblinka, even if you are not "into" WW2. It may not be "beautiful" and "lovely", but I think it's important to see places like this with your own eyes T_T

ɤ̞ and this is just a few places in lower Silesia, a small part of poland, there is also Kraków, Gdansk, Poznan, Warsaw, and many other small cities

The amount of research I tend to invest when visiting a location depends on the location, the length of my stay, and the purpose. I do believe that at the very least, it's always important to respect the customs and language is always a good show of respect. But I agree, if it's a holiday, it's all too easy to overdo your research and it can certainly take away that sense of wonder and mystique you might have by simply exploring a location when you're there. A sense of wonder that definitely wasn't lost in this video. And so easy to see why. The countryside and the architecture in Poland is simply beautiful.

I'm living in Poland and I really appreciate you like it. Next time you should definitely see Malbork, Ogrodzieniec, and definitely Krakow or Warsaw, and if you want some smaller towns I really recommend Opole because of its beauty. Moreover it's not that touristy so it could be really fun to go there for a day or two. Hope to see you on your next polish trip :)

I have watched all of your Japan vlogs before I went to Tokyo for the very first time. They were all very good. Can't believe that you visited Poland.. Yay! I was born there and moved away over a decade ago. Everytime I get homesick I watch travel videos about Poland on RU-vid lol I enjoyed your video, you actually visited a few places I never heard about.

You saw much more of Wrocław than I did! I was there only for a day trip for an event at the stadium - I was staying an hour away by train in Legnica (still in Lower Silesia). My host family there said that hopefully we'll get to see more of Wrocław next time since it really is a beautiful city, and your video is a great preview for the next time I visit! By the way, Legnica is also worth a visit - probably even more slower-paced than Wrocław but definitely very beautiful with very friendly people. Overall, I was in Poland for two weeks (I also went to Kraków) but even then I still feel two weeks wasn't enough - if I had the means and the time, I would've extended my stay!

Well, you missed like 99% of attractions :D There is a plenty of beautiful and interesting places. Starting from north - Tricity with Gdańsk where II WW begin in Europe, Masurian Lakes on the north-east with charming landscapes, Toruń with really nice old town, Warsaw, our capital, then Łódź, city of murals and textile industries from XIX century, Jura Krakowska-Częstochowska, next area with lot of castles and great hills landscapes, Lubelszczyzna on the east with more traditional, polish village culture, Kraków on the south, bit crowdy but with best medieval area as it was former Polish Kingdom capital, Oświęcim nearby with german concentration camp, terrible place with sad history and Polish mountains at the end of course, worth to see every of them all along south border.

You should see: Zakopane (however rather not in winter as it could be really cold), Krakow, Gdansk, Torun, Warsaw, Lublin, Rzeszow, Pennisula of Hel or Mazury. Actually most of regions or cities have something nice to offer.

Ah, Wroclaw. Not far away from the area I grew up and live nowadays again. But coming from Tokyo, every city in Europe (except Paris, Moskwa or London I assume) feels relaxed. ;P Even every time I am in Berlin now I think „cute little city“ and cities like Wroclaw are even smaller. ^^
