for the best ground drill a hole on the floor around the area where the spare tire would be. the area you have it at in the video is a piece thats glued and spot welded to the chassis. the spot welds are the only solid metal to metal contact. its also going to create heat and resistance which will shorten the life of the secondary battery. ive done it and i dont want you to go through the same thing. if you have a multimeter set it on the ohms settings, place the positive lead inside touching an edge of the hole then have the negative lead touch the negative terminal of your secondary battery (nothing hooked to the positive of the battery) or the negative terminal of an amp. it should be 0ohm anything higher is bad
Nice Job! Giving me ideas to help me convert my dads Lincoln to some aftermarket amps. I know in his vehicle all the speakers are on a crossover network, does the dsp you choose combine all the signals together to get the full range sound and not just certain frequencies ?
Yes I can sum up multiple channels. I got to thinking last night if the back doors are 2 way, it probably has a full range signal with a capacitor or something on the tweeter. Could duplicate that signal for the fronts

You said you ran a 0 gauge wire through the firewall. Can you please describe to me how exactly and where you ran the power wire to get it from your battery to inside the car? Thank you so much!
Hard to describe but there's an opening near the wheel well the comes through around the fuse box/brake pedal area. A grommets you can open up and fish wire through. It's not fun. Was tempted to run the wire underneath the car like my previous build but chose otherwise.
Bro there's another way to ground the second battery if you don't want to drill a hole. if you have room to run another 0awg wire, have the negative of the secondary battery connect to the negative of your main battery. also could you just place the secondary battery on the spot where the spare goes. just have it secured so it wont more around
