This vid is grade A+ fr. Solid vid. And you make it look real simple. For someone who’s never split wheels before do you need a silicon bead on the inside of the cut to go around the faces? And do you need to reinstall the nuts+bolts with a thread locker/sealant. I appreciate any feedback. Keep up the solid vids bro💪🏼
You do not need to put silicone anywhere other than in that grove where the barrel and lip meet. And that’s only after the bolts are tightened down. As far as loctite. That’s kind of a personal preference. If you plan on never taking them apart again then go for it. I usually never use any and haven’t had any problems
