I was waiting until you got to the end of your first strip to see if you went all the way back to the starting point to start a new strip or jus continue in a zig zag formation to start a new strip????
Ok i have a problem my floor is 2 different colors because they had a rug in the middle of the floor... the out side was stained but the inside was not... i sanded off the stain and its beautiful and light but the inside where the rugusedto be is darker and there is a spot or 2 where there is a pee stain... how do i match it up with outgoing dark.. i love the light color of the wood but im sad because its not all the same color... what can i do?
You really need to sand the entire floor and re stain everything at once. Otherwise it won't match. The dark spots are tough, not much you can do except stain it dark to cover it up or have someone cut out and replace the individual boards which is a tricky process
