Exciting times! You need to ensure you become fully compliant as a deal sourcer. I cover all of this and more on the deal selling launch pad (link in description) if you’re interested in attending 🙌 it would be great to have you there
Be registered with a property ombudsman, such as The Property Ombudsman (TPO) Be registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) Be registered with a professional body, such as the National Landlords Association (NLA) or Residential Landlords Association (RLA) Have professional indemnity insurance in place
Far too many gaps in this "How To" story. It gets from Point A to Point B to Point C too quickly. "I bought and sold a house. I put an ad out on Facebook. A seller wanted to sell their house. An investor reached out to me and wanted to buy it. I got a finders fee". Yeah, great video mate the process is so straightforward now.
I would leave them 😒 but I don’t suggest you do that! Find other sourcers you can work with to make sure those leads are monetised as much as possible!
Hey Jack, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts out of them.
Great amount of info in such a short video. I can deal source but don't know any investors to sell them to. Bespoke searches as well. Say your looking for a HMO in Liverpool with good ROI, I will spend the time and find it. Looking to get the right people around me with the same interests. Been on a few of Sam Leeds crash courses and learnt Alot. Great video.
@@chemia96 I use rightmove as priority but not always. Then I would use multiple sights to find the local demand in that specific area. However, if the property was a BRR for example then I would have to find the end value to see if the deal was achievable with a decent ROI. Hope this helps.
Hi, I'm in the same space and work with investors in the UK so I think it would be a good idea for us to work together. If you are interested can you please provide an email address and we can take it from there? Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers, Ash.
Did you disclose the address to the investor the first time you sent them the property details? Did they signed a non circumvention agreement? Thanks for the video.
I use NDA’s now. When I first got started I didn’t bother but it’s not the best practice. Either have an agreement with the seller directly or the buyer directly otherwise you risk losing out
Great video. I have a question though you said you got the £5k right away is that right? Usually I’ve heard and seen you wouldn’t get paid until the completions stage?
Hi Jack, very incisive and insightful RU-vid videos and thank you for sharing your particular property investing knowledge ,skills, expertise and experience. Question? " Would you personally recommend that people become property sourcing compliant before they start their sourcing and deal packaging business?" Also " Do you recommend that you get the property deal first or look for the investor first or do both?"
Hey David! Great to hear you’re interest in deal packaging! Check out the website for more info www.jack-smith.co.uk/DSLP Any enquiries reach out to admin@tpnuk.com
