Hello Katrina! What an informative video, thank you. Please feel free to erase this comment after you read it but the right side of your neck looks a little puffy. As a nurse, if your were my patient, I would say get your thyroid checked for goiter. I hope this does not offend. It's probably just the angle the vid is shot at. Blessings to you and yours.
I hope she doesn't take it as an insult. I was at work and I work with the public and a doctor told me the same thing and I went to get it checked and it's a good thing somebody told me because I had no clue but it truly helped me out and found out it was genetic on my moms side.
I use Printify now and I like the quality BUT I just don’t like how they take money from you from every sale you make and then reimburse you once the product has shipped. If you get lucky enough to get 100+ customers at one time and you don’t have the funds in your account to cover that…you’re in trouble. 😢
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 Right. That’s the part I don’t like. What if you get more sales at once than you have money in your account? That’s possible lost customers. They need to alter how they do that.
@@Gorgeousbronze1 I been in the shirt game for over a decade. If the customer is paying for the shirt with their credit cards, why take the money from me?
Wait! Did you mentioned that you DO need money to pay for that first order on Etsy before Printify will make and ship a thing? Etsy holds your payment from the customer until you ship the product , correct?
hey, this is one of the most valuable vid about POD I have seen, most other ones I saw spend time on general things and just bragging about their success and money they make, this one (my first time here) is very practical and to the point, the only thing I didn't quite get in the printify editor is to how to adjust spaces of texts into the printify editor, e.g. if I have two sentences of slogan how do I narrow or widden between them? in the printful editor all are explained underneath the font you choose but in prinitfy it's kinda confussing. thank you for the good job girl!
This is one of the better videos on RU-vid. Very detailed step-by-step, and you cover a lot that others skip. However, at 21:20 , you said that you don't have to worry about up-front costs, but you do have to put a credit card on Prinitify to pay for the customer's purchase, -- and THEN later, once you recieve the money that Etsy pays you, you can pay that credit card bill, correct? I was kinda shocked that it was setup like that.
I read someone suggest not setting the orders up to automatically go to Printify, but to take payment from customers and manually submit them to Printify in order to be able to keep your profit of the payment without having to cover all the costs up front, but to put orders through immediately.
The one thing you forgot to mention is that if you use other sales channels like Shopify, Esty, And a few others, you have to pay a processing fee every time someone orders from your website. That can be very costly for someone who's just getting started in this niche.
I see it says no money, but i'm hearing others say that you need money in your account to pay for the items because etsy doesn't give you the money the customer spends to place your order through printify. Is this accurate information? Thanks in advance!!!
Thank you so much Katrina, this is gold. But one question, I don’t know what size should I make the designs on the shirts in Printify. Like only one word or multiple words across the chest or actually designs also. Thank you.
That is your preference depending on how you want it to look. Designs are all sizes. You will have to take a shirt and a measuring tape to do that yourself
Thank you for your explanation. I'm interested in what happens when someone suddenly receives an order of 100 products on an Etsy shop? How do you cover costs on Printify? For me, that is the only problem that is not related to the money going directly to Printify. Please answer to me because that is the only reason. Please answer me because that is the only reason I am not opening a shop, ie. I haven't done the design yet.
Why are you not mentioning the Printify deposit? Don't you have to give them a deposit before they will print any shirts? Or is the deposit not needed, if you can integrate your store?
Wait you need to update this because I added my Etsy store and it says its connected but its still not working with Etsy =/ so does that mean I have to do everything manually ?
I believe when you make a sale you have to pay printify correct?? that was my problem before is this unless there is a way around it? I think you need a credit card or a couple hundred or thousand in the bank if your item takes off I believe.. or please share how to do this if I was wrong. Thanks!
Love this! ❤️ I’m a newbie in print-on-demand and discovered Crafted Threads. They offer so many designs for every niche, and the lifetime updates are a huge bonus!
I will like to know please when you create an account on printify the name on my account printify, did I need to register that name and paid for it to make that mine?
Question??? If you creat the shirt with a main logo on it. Are you able to leave a space to customize like a phone number underneath the logo as the order comes in? Using this company?
I haven't opened an Etsy store because I currently can't afford to cover the costs of paying for my listings or the cost of a product if I make a sale. Etsy will get paid, but you won't, not right away. Someone has to pay for that pod product to get made and shipped. And also running the risk of continuing to pay for a listing to a pod product that isn't selling. I have discovered that the whole process is a bit more involved and complicated than most of the videos I have watched explain. I am still pursuing this side hustle, but Etsy will have to wait until I can afford to use them.
@@samata24 I have watched Etsy tutorial videos where the Creator has a link to get your first 40 listings for free. And I suppose if you happen to have a credit card with available purchase power you can get your Etsy store up and going. Look for the tutorial videos that are longer in length like an hour, hour and a half. I am walking this exact line myself.

Hello Katrina you really helped me with this video. I love watching your videos because you give great details. I really appreciate your help I’m gonna start me print on demand this weekend.
Do you think POD should be a separate Etsy shop - I have one now that has only had 3 sales since end of 2022 (when I went back to work)...my shop is sewn/embroidery...and I may add sublimation. I think that show may be dead (even though I just sold a Thanksgiving item)...I'm thinking I should start a fresh store for POD (and maybe sublimation) ... please tell me your thoughts. Thanks for all the time you put in for your videos to help us!!❤
But Etsy is taking fee for listing & that is not 0$...🤷 & additive costs: do one have to pay in advance for item cost & shipping, before Etsy pays out ? 🤔 How long is waiting time before Etsy pays for sold items? 🤔
Super helpful, I am just stating out, and was looking exactly for this info. Do you have a video on how and when all of the costs are charged by Printify: production costs, shipping costs etc - do they charge you after you are paid by Etsy? Thanks in advance for your reply ! 😊🌿💜

Hello! Thanks so much for the video. I'm wondering what happens when the customer chooses to buy the item. Does it alert you, to which you then need to address something on etsy or printify? Or does it automatically do everything and you literally are only doing the designs and creating listings? I've not sold on anything before and I don't know what the next steps are in the process after everything is connected and listed.
Nice Video, Amazon do not allow the packages shipped by print on demand companies to have a name and address on packaging of print on demand company. They want the information on packaging to amazon seller's information. How do you get around that ? Thanks in advance for answering.
I don't know if this is a thumb-up or down. If I have no money how will I get a credit card that Printify will debit against for their product. Surly I need money to get a credit card or have I misunderstood.
I am new to all of this. And I have connected my pop-up shop with Printify. Now I don't know where to begin, I also wanted to know about getting and Itin number to connect with your shop, I did because I know we have to do taxes and what about Analytics did you have to do that as well so you can see to know how many sells you are making and how many customers is buying from you
Has anyone given this a shot yet? If so can you explain how do they get your design to sublimate on items and second if you have the same design but for different color shirts how does this work. How is their work did anyone order a sample of their design on product
