How to start a raw food diet! Here are my top ten ways on how you can be successful living a FullyRaw lifestyle!

I hope that you all are excited and hopeful about the 21-day challenge. I will teach you how to live, breath, and eat FullyRaw! For this first video we're going to give you all the tips, tricks, etc on how to go FullyRaw. Even if you're not going FullyRaw, doing one FullyRaw meal can be beneficial. Living raw is not about eating a "diet," it's about living a healthy LIFESTYLE. It's about thriving, allowing your foods to nourish your body and send your soul soaring! There are many ways to eat a raw foods diet. Ironically, some of these ways are not healthy at all. Eating FullyRaw focuses on thriving via a low fat raw vegan lifestyle (80/10/10), which emphasizes consuming more fruits and greens rather than gourmet prepared dishes with nuts or seeds. My diet consists primarily of fruits and greens, which are the most nutrient dense foods. These foods have brought me absolute health, and I want to share my healthy lifestyle with you!
10 Easy Steps to Start Eating a Raw Food Diet:
1. Stock up on Fruits! (Throw out ALL junk and make SURE that you have enough in your house to last you at least a week!)
2. Make your first meal of the day a juice or smoothie. (32-64 oz) Try my Holy Grale, Sunburst Juice, Soulshine Juice, Jungle Juice, V8 Juice, or Orange Spinach Basil Smoothie! YUM!
3. Make your second meal a huge platter of fruit! Eat all the fruit that you care for and preferably mono-meal. This is the easiest on digestion. Examples of a fruit meal are bananas (7-15), oranges (10-15), pears (8-10), grapes (whole 2 lb bag), apples (7-10), persimmons (10), etc. Gravitate towards sweeter fruits because these have a higher calorie ratio per unit of volume. If you are worried about not being able to eat as much as you need, remember that your stomach is a muscle and that it can expand AND contract when "exercised" properly. Yes, you can eat more expensive fruits (berries, cherries, etc)-- it's personal and monetary preference!
4. For your dinner, eat a small plate of fruit and a large salad! Start with juicy fruits like citrus (5-6 pieces) and end with a GIANT Rainbow Salad. Consume about 1-2 heads of leafy greens if you can. Try my Epic Raw Marinara as a dressing and add whatever veggie toppings you want! Make it colorful and filled with life!
5. Educate yourself! Check out the FAQ page atwww.fullyraw.com
6. Exercise! Get at least 20 minutes to an hour a day at least!
7. Find a community with whom you can share this blessing! Join a co-op like www.rawfullyorg... or find a potluck near your via meetup sites like www.meetup.com. You can also post to find others on my facebook page at / fullyrawkristina . You're not in this alone, and when you have community, you will feel like you have a support team around you all the time! It's much more fun to have friends with common interests! :)
8. Get rest! Sleep! you need recovery time!
9. Eat enough... cronometer until you get used to how much your body needs
10. Be gentle with yourself! Love yourself! Self-love takes time to develop. You wouldn't be here if you didn't have hope that you can change your life. I am here for you as are many others.

What can I do if my mum says I'm a crazy? And I told her only about vegan lifestyle. She doesn't believe that rawfood diet is healthy and she doesn't want to listen me. In Ukraine we don't have enough information:( Can you help me?

Awesome. I need a menu of examples. I have stocked up but now I feel slightly overwhelmed on what to eat and how? I am sure when you post the menu tomorrow I will be at work already BUT I can use examples from this video! Packing a lunch is the hardest for me so I will pack huge fruit bowl as suggested!

I'm going 100% vegan tomorrow! I live in a nonvegan household. I've been vegantrian for 9 months now! I've been trying to go vegan for over a year now but it's so hard because I'm 14 about to be 15 and I have no time for a job. My mom claims that buying fruits and vegetables cost too much. everyone in my family is obese and I am the only healthy weight one.

SAME! but my advice to you is to ask your parents to hide all their sweets, so if you crave sweet junk food, you won't be able to find and eat it! I hope this helps! 🐝

Hi Kristina. I am really interested in going fully raw or, at the very least, going vegetarian. My hurdle is that my husband loves alot of meat and doesn't really want to even consider trying to cut out meat, much less going fully raw. He supports me, but it's hard to cut it all out all while having to cook other things for him everyday. Any advice on how to live with someone who doesn't eat the same as you? Also, any advice on how to turn down food that someone offers at their house without seeming rude? Especially of they make it specifically for you.

+the emmstorm1511 no. Sometimes ur eyes can change depending on where you live, or its just in your genetics already. Eye color changes naturally all the time. Like skin and hair color. For example, if u get twins who naturally have blue eyes and separate them, having one live in northern europe, and one in south africa, the one in south africa may have darker eyes over time.

I'm 15, I'll be 16 in 2 months. I have some really bad problems in my digestive tract and we are still trying to find out what's wrong. I want to try a fully raw diet for a month or so to see if it'll help. Do you have any suggestions for me? My stomach can't handle too much food at once.

hi rylee, ok, please try raw milk, the enzymes in it could clear up your problem all together, this has nothing to do with a "raw" diet, it's just that when milk is pasteurized (heated), it kills off the healthy stuff that helps digestion!! please do try it for you digestion today! I know it's a bit harder to find, but you can if you look!!!! all care in JESUS!

o, also, fresh pineapple has enzymes that aid with digestion, so much so that some people say it makes their mouth tingle to eat it... the enzyme breaks down protein... between the milk and pineapple, I bet you're problem will clear up in no time... Don't go fullyraw at first, or ever. Go into it smoothly. I'm not fullyraw, I'm mostly raw though. And I find that the most satisfying. On Thanksgiving and Christmas I enjoy that turkey or prime rib. When at parties or out with friends I "cheat" a little. It's the benefit of being mostly raw that will keep you smiling. Maybe that's not perfect, but perfect is always hard to reach.

i always thought about going vegetarian but now im gonna actually try and im not gonna stop till i get there and im never ever gonna give up its just like riding a bike you control your bike when you learn but you control what your body does when you make food choices so i must say your a really big inspiration and always make good decisions of what your putting into your body and always eat right and go fullyraw thank you kristina for being such an inspiration to me and i give you my love and support and i will always make my decisions to go FullyRaw. thank you.

Oh Lawrence Zeng.... you just don't get it. 1. Raw foods are not "hard to digest", they're made of complex carbs. This requires more work for your body to burn it all off, and therefore it must work harder and you will lose weight more efficiently. That is a *GOOD* thing. 2. You don't need 20 fruits to feel full. I HAVE DONE THIS DIET AND STILL DO WHEN I FEEL UP TO IT. If I was gonna eat only bananas for a meal, I'd need like 5-7. I am NOT skinny, and I have a good appetite. 3. Fruit is not as expensive as you claim, at least not in relativity to all other foods we buy and consume. You'd pay the same price for a fruit meal as you would for a shitty fast food meal. FACT. You just don't realize how much is spent on other food. Not to mention, you can buy fruit in bulk easily, and then it's STILL cheaper than all the other fatty, non-vegan crap. TL;DR: There are no valid reasons to put down this diet. It helps your overall health and to lose excess weight, AND it's better for the environment. You can't convince me otherwise. I've done my research, clearly. I don't plan on coming off it because of your RU-vid comment.

For many of us diets high in carbohydrates are just not an option. If you have insulin resistance a vegan diet can be just too hard to formulate. I have stabilized my blood glucose levels to normal ranges and no longer need blood pressure medicine on a high saturated fat, low carbohydrate, animal based diet that includes hard cheese, eggs, beef, poultry, fish and offal. I take some fermented vegetables such as sauerkraut and kimchi and also fermented milk in the form of kefir. I have removed fruit completely from my diet. I am 53 years old and feeling so much better than when on a vegan diet.

i experienced that stocking up on fruits is really essential for the success - it can make the difference! the shopping list was a great inspiration, now i try to have all this stuff at home at least at the end of every week.

Today I did my grocery shopping for the challenge! I started the morning out with a fresh squeezed juice of some things that I had on hand, apples, oranges, lemon, and cucumber. Delicious! I'm so excited for the days coming up.

I started eating only fruits and vegetables since middle November 2017, for health reasons. I feel much healthier on it. I am losing weight, very slow but its ok cause I am on this for life.

I love this video! I watch it again and again day after day. I don,t eat the way you show but still I try to eat raw.I don,t drink juice because it is too difficult for me for now all these hundreds new greens and tastes.I often make 2 mistakes-great quantity-I see a video,go buy spinach,make big salad and it makes me sick,my stomach ache,I want to throw up and for 2 or more weeks I can,t stand up spinach.2) I see you put 5-6 greens,I go buy 8 greens typical for Bulgaria, make huge salad and it makes me sick......So my advice to you all is-you are a raw baby.How mother teaches 3-month infant to food-1 day-1 spoon orange juice,2 day-2 spoons,3 day-3 spoons,.....100day-100 spoons.For 100 days mother teaches the baby a new food-orange.Then she begins 1 day-1 spoon apple juice,2 day-2 spoons,3 day-3 spoons,.....100 day-100 spoons.For 100 days she taught a baby to second new food-apple. Then 1 day-1 spoon banana smash, 2 day-2 spoons, 3 day-3 spoons,.....100 day-100 spoons.new food-banana.Then another fruit-pear, then-kiwi and all other fruits.Then she teaches the baby to vegetables-1 day-1 spoon carrot juice,2 day-2 spoons,....100 day-100 spoons,the baby learned new food-carrot.Then Mom teaches the baby to cucumber-1 day-1spoon juice,2 day-2spoons juice....100 day-100 spoons,the baby learned a new food-cucumber.Then she teaches the baby to new cooked dish,to meat,to diary products and at 1 year old the baby knows all fruits,vegetables and .... Imagine that you are a raw food baby at the moment.So eat very slowly,day after day - 1 day -1 spoon spinach,2 day-2 spoons,3day-3 spoons.Don,t push yourself to eat A LOT of some new food for you right from the beginning.It takes time for your body to learn the new taste of a new food. 2)tip- Don,t eat at the beginning MANY new foods.First learn 1 food-spinach, then learn second food-silantro,then learn third food-dandelion,then learn fourth food-dill......Otherwise you will get sick,throw up and hate these new foods,you will blame raw foodism for your illnesses. I have never found cooked food particularly appetising and I have spent my whole life craving fruits which i was discouraged to eat because of the sugar and the acidity on my teeth. Before I went on my fully raw diet, I had a very unhealthy diet. I had many attempts and fails to go on this diet. But finally i gained enough courage and i literally just enjoyed the two months of being fully raw. I couldn't stay on fully raw because it is expensive and i'm not old enough to go to work. I want to become a fully raw vegan in the future:)

I really had to learn to embrace and love bananas. That made ALL the difference. When I'm in a rush leaving the house, I just grab a bunch and take with. Also, I really appreciate the availability of cold-pressed, pressure- (rather than heat) pasteurized juice these days for quick take-withs. Blueprint, Daily Greens, Suja, etc. I know it's not the same as fresh-made, but in a pinch, it's a great help.

SO many QUESTIONS!! :) How do you deal with shared fridge space as a renter? What grocery store would I shop at? How much would a week's worth of groceries cost for ? I have classes back to back and so we are permitted to eat in second class. How would I eat fully raw in front of professors/colleagues with minimal reactions? How would I blend in the mornings if I have to wash, dry, and put things away with only about 20 minutes to do so? Do you have to buy organic? Is there a master list of foods you can have? How can you go out with friends anymore? How do you celebrate holidays with everyone pressuring you to eat their food?? Thank you everyone!
