ANOTHER TIP!!!!! Do not cling yourself to the scale. Numbers can be discouraging and it sometimes causes people to give up. If exercising makes you feel good, don't stop. Slow progress is still going forward! 😊
It seriously changes your life for the better :) You will have more energy and honestly be happier. I know it's what people always say, but it's so true. Also, Rachel's tip about starting small and building up is a great tip, that's what I have been doing. Goodluck :)
Laura Kellogg I knowww! You're super right and now I have so much time to do it... I'll try those 30 days challenge apps :) Thank you so much, keep doing what you're doing and let's have a better lifestyle
I don't usually comment on RU-vid videos, but I just wanted to thank you so much for your tip about starting small and only doing what you can do. A lot of times I get discouraged about starting to exercise again because I feel like I can only do small amounts at a time, so it doesn't seem worth it to start. I know that isn't true, and that it is worth it, but that is just how I feel. This really inspired me to start and that soon I will be able to work up to do more and that I can make a change even by starting small. Thanks for putting it into perspective. :)
Thank you for this video. I REALLY need to start exercising!!! I haven't exercised since I left the Army. Back in the day, I never looked at it as a necessity to a health life. It was just a burden. Now i am completely out of shape, overweight and falling apart!!! Please listen to her and GET IT DONE!!!
This inspired me to come up with my own rewards/punishment system. If I don't work out 5 times a week, I can't drink on the weekends. I've never wanted to exercise so badly.
I just love how motivating you are. if you want to have kids some day, you will be a really good mother. you really are a good motivational speaker. thanks
I love your idea about not letting yourself watch RU-vid till at gym. I currently get up and sit for like an hour watching videos when I could be working out and watching! Brilliant!
I love the fact that I have a cross trainer and exercise bike at home, makes watching youtube vids an working out a great combo in the comfort of my own home:)
Thank you for these tips! Working out has changed my life for the better, for me it's not even about being fit but more so the mental benefits exercising gives you! I love how you said to start small and focus on the feeling after a good workout. My last tip to offer is to spend time stretching! It's so good for your muscles and it it gives an amazing natural high! Love your videos girl!
Omg I do half of these things too! Especially if I workout and eat healthy the whole month I reward myself with going the the sports shop and buying 1 thing every month. That realllllyyyyy helps me stay motivated
your videos are always SO motivating, thank you!! and i totally agree with your comment on how even after just a few days of working out your body gets a high off of it and feels amazing!
I love this video, I feel like I've watched so many repeats of the same thing, but this really stood out, there was many things I've never heard. Great video, one of the best I've watched on this topic!😘
You're definitely my new favorite RU-vidr! You're so positive and always have great tips. I look forward to your videos every week! This one definitely got me motivated! Much love!
I already decided that next school year (so after summer break) I wanted to start going to the gym but now you made me feel like starting to do exercises at home as well! Thank you very much for this video! Lots of love from the Netherlands x
Thanks for this. I need to get back into exercising and build some more muscle. I stopped during last semester at uni because my timetable was so busy with classes and part time work, I was always too tired to go. I desperately need to start again.
I've been working out at the gym for 30 minutes a day too, thinking it wasn't enough. I run 10 and bike 20. But hearing you do that as well, gives me loads of motivation! Do you have have particular routine for your cross trainer?
I have periods of being a regular exerciser, and then (longer) periods of doing nothing at all... :/ Point is that I am not allowed to loose any weight (I've had anorexia for seven years, and am still on regular check-ups to see if my weight will remain stable), and I am not very strict at eating extra after exercise... But I am starting another exercise routine now, and will see how long it lasts... I will definitely come back to this video for motivation when I stop going again!
also, a tip of mine is to always try and work out in the morning because you will feel great the rest of the day and if you wait until night you may not feel the motivation anymore !
I don't even care how old this video is. At the beginning of July, I told myself I would get up earlier than normal each day (at 9 instead of 10 or later...) and go for a walk. It's been two months and I can already notice a huge difference. Some mornings I only walk half a mile, some mornings I walk two miles. It just depends on how much time I have, and what else I need to do. I like power walking, because it's not quite as difficult as running is, but you still get up and moving.
Haiiii Bae!!!! So sorry about the camera issue, I've had the same camera for the 4 years too. Praying mine doesn't give up on me. Loved live streaming with you tonight! 😘💜 love you xo
I normally work out for an hour - and hour and 30 minutes it just depends. I always walk on the treadmill at 32 for speed. Which is fast walking...I'm 14 so I think that's a pretty good workout. This video really helped me, thank you for making this video. Can you make a video on healthy breakfast, lunch, & dinner meals I want to start getting into eating a lot healthier, I'm not vegan though but I watched some of your what I ate today videos and I really enjoyed seeing how to make your meals and what you eat.
I get inspired by instagram!!! I follow a lot of inspiring people from youtube .. so i go on youtube and do some workouts .. such as tone it up.. or lovesweatfitness .. ugh love them girls!
It is really hard for me to get motivated because during the holidays my mum and dad work and my older sister just sleeps all day. Any tips on how to exercise and not wake her up. Need to get more fit for cheer competition coming up next week
Great video Rachel.. I agree with you exercise make you much more relax,, I do workout at home as there is tones of workout videos on RU-vid.. N go for run in the eve.. N I feel great.. Exercise is really good for your body as well as for relaxation of your mind.., good to know you enjoying going to gym
I've been meaning to compliment you on your inspirational vids. I hit subscribe after watching just one of your videos. What intro yoga RU-vid videos do you recommend?
My best tip is to buy a sporty or energetic Snelling perfume/body spray. Use each time before exercise and within a week or so you will pair that scent with energy & exercise which can help with motivation. I was able to discontinue this once I was in a routine. Nine years after trying this strategy I'm still going to the gym 6 days a week. Now when I need more motivation I'll but some new activewear :)
I never commit so this is something totally uncommon for me to do but your video was insured and inspiring, you reLly touched alot of bases in a small amount of time , alot of useful info and I just wanted to give u thumbs up on a great video and I will be sharing on social media to hopefully inspire others .
Loved this video ! This was actually so helpful ahahahah I especially liked the tip about starting small because I feel like I tend to get lazy because I'll workout one day and do a massive workout but then I won't want to the next day but honestly with your tips I'm more motivated to each day do a little more at my own pace :) xxx
Hello, I absolutely love your videos. But i have a question how to do keep going because i always get motivated to exercise but i always either stop or give up i have a condition where im always dizzy and have athsma but i do as much as i can. But i always stop and start again a few days later and im not seeing results. I have an exercise bike in my home but rarely use it. Also have a daughter but do have free time to exercise but i dont. Do you have any tips or advice?? xxxxxxxxxxx
