I tried this today after the Lexus dealership told me to put in a new battery. After putting the battery in the car still wouldn't start. Watched this video and it started the first time. Thank you so much! You saved me a lot of worry and money!

I just changed the battery and had this exact issue. Left it for a couple of minutes. Ignition off. Back on and fired straight up. Appreciate it fella

Im experiencing this right now! I guess in the 7 mins in the on position, it finally reads and accepts the key, go off then on and boom it started. I actually found this out by accident and i was guessing at the timing... i gave it like 15-20 mins instead. Its been acting fine since, and im using the valet spare key. Watching this video from Chicago, 2000 gs300 lover... Also i find especially with the higher mileage cars you have to slow down your key insert and rotation

My alarm /horn sounds off as soon as connect my battery up, 7 minutes is a long time for to blow .should i just disconnect the horn and try this method?

My gs 300 starts but shuts down right away. This is not what you are referring to correct? When the immobilizer is activated the car will just turn over without starting at all?

Will it work on is250 model?
