If you're feeling super sleepy while working the graveyard shift, we hope this video stops your eyelids from shutting! Thanks for stopping by and supporting our growing channel. 🙏

Hi Raj. You've made our day, thanks for your kind comment. I would recommend having a small breakfast when you get home. This stops you from waking up with hunger pains at midday. This video I published recently will help with food timing when working night shift. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-i8nENeh_G68.html
I have been at this for 4 years now....10:30 pm to 6:30 am 5 nights straight per week. I work alone as a CNA in a Memory Care Unit. My challenge is controlling stress/cortisol and losing weight. I need to lose 100 pounds. Exercise has been a challenge with an old ankle injury. I live alone and this nasty Covid-19 situation has all but destroyed any social life I had. Looking for ways to cope and come through stronger on the other side.of all this.
Hey Susan... Keep at it girl! Those working in the medical industry have added stress never experienced before, but I'm confident this will come to pass over time. In the meantime, don't forget to schedule some time with friends (breakfast dates are great) and when you body doesn't allow you to exercise as you'd like, seek out alternatives - for me, that's swimming, cycling, yoga or pilates. I hope that helps!
I'm about to start my first night shift and I'm terrified. Lol. Just started as a 911 call taker and we will be working 2 12 day shift followed by 2 12 hour night shifts then 4 days off. This video has given me so many tip so fingers crossed I'll survive if 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Hi Danielle. Thanks for checking out the video, glad you enjoyed it. It's daunting isn't it? But you will be okay! We did a video on what to think about for your first-ever night shift that might help too - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xWkGgWzI5_k.html Best of luck!
only been working night from 16-4 or 20-8 for like 3 week (9 day totals) as a truck driver, my problem id that on off days i have to fight my body to stay awake at night, today i took some sleep pills to sleep in the day and now im dying to go to sleep and it's not even 10 pm... gawd this is hard.
This is brilliant! In South Africa we have security guards for businesses and housing complexes where we expect guards on night shift to stay awake all night but give them no advice or assistance on how to do. We just complain that they do not stay awake, which is our usual default attitude. This video a huge 'wake up' call.
im a security guard and this is so true, we sit in an office space for 8-12hrs a night with no social interaction and usually no real way to entertain ourselves and it gets so immensely hard to stay awake. Especially when nothing happens all night. Luckily, i’ve done good so far with staying awake but alot of my coworkers just cant stay awake for that long, especially in the summer when its so hot outside its impossible to sleep during the day
