I got them out of everywhere but the recliner. I’ve sprayed the hell out of it over and over. My wife keeps getting bite marks in the chair but I cannot find them anywhere!! I can’t figure out where they are hiding!! The bed was easy but I’m stumped on the furniture. It’s been a real nightmare
@@1972dsrai ok so buy a new one and then one female left behind during the moving process can easily start a new infestation.so I agree maybe get rid of the old you have but don't replace it for a while.
@@flextefitness4954 I’m sure its easier said than done to just go out and buy new furniture, not everyone can afford to do that which I totally understand, but if they want to be sure there aren’t any stray bugs around then I don’t see an alternative. If the place has been stripped and then fumigated with extreme heat treatment and then new furniture is put back in rather than the old then I’d be fairly confident there are no more waiting to breed again.
Those interceptors are not really helpful because the bugs usually travel from your clothing, blankets or even pets. So one bug hitch hikes then bam. Useless. The video is helpful though
When my mother had a couch infested with it... One day i got tired of it... So i got my blow torch and killed them plus the eggs... I know is wasn't the safest way but that couch felt so much after... Went as far as to ripping out her carpets...
Peppermint oil in a spray bottle? I have lavender oil will that work? I have someone going in my car and they have bed bugs at their house. Is there anything I can do so I don't get them.
Can you clean 100% of dog pee/stains from sofa with this?? Does it also effectively kill microorganisms (fleas, lice, bugs etc) from carpets, rugs, couches, bed mattresses??
well my sofa is brown so the dog's pee doesn't leave a stain, per se - it just looks darker at the points where he's peed. So doesn't a steam cleaner do ANY cleaning? Meaning doesn't it clean at all? Some steam cleaners like dirt devil m319 aquaclean I think also take detergents so I was hoping they also clean like I would scrub detergent on manually (apart from killing microorganisms via steam). No? Doesnt the steam cleaner in the video also use detergent?@@BedbugSupply
"Cleaning" is a vague term that covers multiple tasks, from disinfecting to stain removals. Our steamers are all dry vapor for pest control, and don't use detergents. They'll disinfect, but won't consistently remove stains.
I guess that that may have come out indeed very vague.. :( What I meant by the word "cleaning" is 3 basic things (in my personal view/wants, specifically), in hierarchy: 1. 100% odor removal (as the pee would have undoubtedly seeped through the sofa), 2. As much stain removal as possible (any advice on using the steamer above any detergent placed on sofa/rug before?), 3. Killing of any microrganisms that may reside around or inside couch/bed mattress or rug. What of the above 3 categories can this steamer system accomplish - and how? @@BedbugSupply
These questions are far too in-depth to cover in a RU-vid comment thread, especially since we are bed bug specialists and not cleaning specialists. Please contact the steamer's manufacturer directly to get more info about using them for cleaning tasks.
I bought the wrong couch. The back cushions are connected all the way around. The seat cushions are connected all the way around. The arm cushions are completely connected. I can’t take anything apart. I did buy a saw and contractor bags so I can throw the couch out in pieces by the bagful. That’s my last resort though.
If the couch can't be taken apart, that just means it's harder for bed bugs to hide inside. You should be fine just steaming along every crack and crevice / nook and cranny that you can. Be thorough and consistent and you should be fine.
BedbugSupply they have so many hiding places as the couch is hollow and there are many ways for them to get inside where I cannot. I ended up bagging the couch sections and throwing nuvan prostrips inside. The bagged pieces are sitting in my garage where they can’t harm me or my pets.
After the day of fumigation from pest control, apart from vacuuming, can I steam clean right after? Will that suck up the pesticide too rendering my effort useless because it is just water? How many days after can I steam clean? Thank you.
@@coryjackson6034 Bit of a jump from ordering new furniture to moving house, but ok, if you insist on being dramatic. It doesn’t have to be expensive, you can buy cheap sofa’s, I’ve even seen them.
I was being sarcastic on throwing away furniture and just getting new ones like it's that simple like people just have money laying around to just buy new furniture... and plus just cuz you get new furniture they don't go away they'll just infect the new furniture
