Do you have a straw hat that's losing its shape and becoming too floppy?
The Paul Lashton premium straw stiffening solution is specifically designed for organic fibers and helps to retain your Panama hat's shape. Simply spray areas of the product you desire to be stiffened and allow to dry.
Instructions:
1. Brush and clean off any existing dirt or dust upon the hat.
2. Test spray the repellent away from the hat, in a well-ventilated area. This will clear the nozzle from any repellent sitting previous sprays so it can provide a uniform spread.
3. While holding the hat securely or letting it sit on a rack, spray the stiffener over the outside of the hat from 6-8 inches away, using very light coats. The goal is to apply several very light coats rather than heavy, fewer coats.
4. Flip the hat over. Repeat step 3 with the interior of the hat.
5. Allow hat to dry for a full 24 hours to completely cure.
6. Now your hat will be more stiff and able to retain its shape better!
