Before I heard of Impact Theory, I read Jesse Itzler's book, "Living with a Seal," which lead me to discover David Goggins, which lead me to see the Goggins interview with Tom, which lead me to discover Impact Theory, which lead me to watching this interview right now. Full circle. I have been hugely impacted by all of this content. THANK YOU!

I didn’t know my life was gonna change before watching even half this video. I wasn’t even gonna watch this video, thank god I did. A lot of videos juice me up, they make you feel excited, this one changed my life, this one has moved me. Now I have the very real image in my mind that I have 8 summers left before I’m 40. Before today, it was whatever happens happens,. After today, I’m gonna do what I want, then I’ll adapt to what happens after. Thank you for this, because tomorrow will no longer be the same.

I have watched all your interviews and your motivational videos. I started watching this one with a negative outlook. Yet it might end up being the one with the most impact. I turned 56 on May 6th and for the first time, I started thinking about my time left. Not depressive, but reality. Jess put things in perspective for me. Thanks Tom

John, I think for all of us in our 50's (I'm currently 51), this episode hit home. I've watched this again and again. I keep that term "enhancing my life resume" in my head daily. I'm cognizant daily that my time is limited to do what I need to in order to still have the capacity to enjoy life and make an impact. Awesome interview!

I am 55 and my current position in life (financially shall we say) is..... well, honestly, there isn't a word to describe it. In one sense, it has energised me not to waste a second longer, but in another sense, who am I compared to this clever dude who started young with some much balls and knowledge, wisdom etc etc etc....... I was always ambitious in my early years, now I feel like I do not have a second to waste. I seriously want to be wealthy, I want that on my Life Resume, not for any other reason, than for it to be like a Grade I achieved at College, University, etc. With Distinction.

I've found many parts of the interview very interesting, but the one I felt very connected with is when he got to the monastery and he tried to meditate the first hour. A few days ago I was working on a leather bag I was making when suddenly I realized that success for me was not the money or any other material things, but how I am when I'm by myself. If I can just sit and experience the greatness of life doing "no-thing", then I consider in my own view that I'm super successful. Sorry if it doesn't make a lot of sence, I just wanted to share the way I'm experiencing it. Thanks again Tom and team for your amazing work

I know now this is something we realize at some point in our lives depending on our own individual development when I was your age I knew this intuitively, but I guess I let my ego take control without me knowing. The bit where he breaks down the idea of seeing your parents a few times a year, now imagine you will see them only 16 more times, really really affected me. Not directly in reference to my own parents as they are long gone and I've mourned the loss, but as a way to think about my time left with the people who are alive now. I'm not old but will be someday, God willing and I felt like I've not used the time I've been given so far, wisely, and so many things I still want to do and see. Shit this video gave me a lump in my throat I can't swallow. It's what I needed to hear. Thank you for this content.

The beauty of this message is that it rekindles your thoughts about life, time and how precious they both are. Thank you Jesse for sharing. After a recent, unexpected family passing LIFE has been a very difficult subject... pondering one's soul of why we choose to be away from the ones we love to follow our dreams or stubbornness... without the guarantee that we or our loved ones will even make it through the night. This truly rekindled a spark to create a bigger sense of urgency and more memorable moments in what time we pray we have left... and for that I am very grateful. I don't claim any labels/religions... but right now I'm reading multiple books, the Life of a Yogi, a few others and the Bible... and the scripture John 5:24 allows a little more pondering on this topic if one may be interested.

the part about the german shepherd's hyper-focus was so inspiring. obviously i was quiet because i was watching this, but that part made me put my head down as i got meditative quiet. as an adhd-er that hit me hard and encouraged me to stop being so hard on myself, and to instead remember the point i'm trying to get to. distractions are supposed to distract, but i have the option to keep moving towards what i want with the right kind of training. great interview.

Jesse Itzler: The achievements you've made in the past 25 years are unparalleled, exceptional & motivating like nothing else. Beside the financial success & the athletic lifestyle success... you've started impacting literally millions of lives by sharing your experiences... just introducing David Goggins to the world to learn from was a lifetime achievement, your book "living with a seal" was a lifetime achievement... and you have hundreds of other achievements that successful people can't get in their lifetime PLEASE: Don't make your previous success and achievements to be the reason for you fear in your next 25 years... hope you can do so many 25 years in good health, happiness and success!

I love how this show asks these hugely successful guys "what is the impact you want to have on the world" and often it seems to stop them for a short pause maybe with guilt and realization.. they recognize their accomplishments have been their life not the strengthening of humanity itself. I guess the main point of the show is how to improve ones self but to ask these incredible men this question is so important. It is truly amazing what can be accomplished in one life time. I look forward to watching more of "impact theory", would love to see more interviews with people who have cultured positive changes in themselves and improved society for all. Thanks so much for this show and asking that question. When one rises up we all rise up.

@first name, but you look at these interviews right? Im only 5 min in and seeing that one thing leads to the next..Even tho his steps seem just like out of a movie but we all are on some kind of track towards the future... I checked your channel and you got some nice music there, and some brainstuff which is to much for me... Just as your comment gets result, small steps do also... I think shooting for the stars is ´shooting higher than average´ so even when you fall back to earth your journy was way better than the others that said ´lemme try this´.... I barely shoot at all but do try to take little steps... I hope you are fine and keep on going, and believing your path will make sence in the future... cause it will

I dont know if it's cause Itzler is just my fav kind of person. (eccentric). Or what. This is first I think I've heard of him but I'm sold. 🙏🏾

Jesse always makes me speechless He can live the absolute most luxurious life in this life, however he lives his life as a roll model, motivator, inspiration to below average human beings like me. Knowing that Jesse is at least 200 times richer than the richest person I’ve ever me, however, I feel like he’s a friend that I know in person for years with his strange modesty and being that down to earth.... this beautiful human being is forcing me to stay out of my comfort zone (for my own good) and I wish if I can thank him.

This is still one of my most watched episodes of Impact Theory. What a legend Jesse is! If I ever need it, I get reminded that there is ALWAYS a way. Always. And, that time should be spent deliberately. Thanks again for this fantastic episode, I hope there will be more with Jesse in the future 🤩 (*This is also often the first episode I show to people when introducing them to IT. And it works)

I was gonna listen for a few minutes in the shower. Ended up ditching my entire morning routine. "28 summers" hit home hard.

Wonderful interview and guest. Being so grounded and realistic and full of common sense, what a powerful tonic for these narcissistic and delusional times emanates Mr. Itzler. He sounds and looks and FEELS authentic and honest. Thank you for bringing this to the public Mr. Bilyeu.

I truly believe that we can do whatever we put our minds to do. Nothing is impossible to those who believe and have the faith that the whole universe will surrender your dreams to you, never give up and just keep shooting for the moon, even if you miss you will land amongst the stars.

This was one of your best Tom. I like the emotional restraint you maintained throughout the interview. It allowed Jesse to be more of the focus. IT is an incredible boost mate. Thank you.

Most impactful episode of Impact Theory I have seen so far. Loved Jesse's explanation of how we should view time, that we should get experiences as far reaching as possible, even though there is a lot of risk involved and there will be naysayers. Also got a great insight into how relationships, not just romantic relationships, should work- each person should build the other up and be their biggest cheerleader.

This is so important and people need to know that it is okay to aim high and not fear about how you look or not accomplish in the mean time. Thank you for recognizing that being fearless allows you to aim for new challenges and not hold you back in life to be able to live full out.

Beautiful episode as always! One take away for me was to keep moving forward regardless of obstacles. And the thing that most successful people do, is work on their mindset because that creates action and momentum.

I love that he got into the TED people by buying all the muffins. The one time that you leverage muffins heavier than gold or a flashy conference badge. Amazing.
