You are a genius ❤ my printer does this all over my sublimation paper and i get so irritated. Cleaning the print head never works. This worked like a charm!

Excellent post! I was considering buying a new printer, but fortunately found your YT. I used the paper towel cleaning approach you described - it worked for my Epson XP-7100 :). I did the blotting approach plus moving the print heads back and forth over windex moistened paper towel, which was needed to remove the last bit of smearing in my case.
I want to say to you “ Thank you so much for your video” I was almost going to smash the printer, how frustrated I was. I did the cleaning with the winder, my nails are black but I am so happy. I have a beautiful printing without ink smearing. Thank you so much.
My printer was working fine until yesterday when i printed a few regular black in document. Today when i printed color on glossy paper, now Im getting black ink smudges. I checked printer settings were set to glossy paper and high quality. I also tried your suggestions and it didnt help. 😭
I haven't tried transparent matte. But if you can see the ink sitting on top of the paper, you can reduce the ink density in the extended settings. Try -3% for ink density.
I include how to change it in the video. It depends on your printer. I use Epson so I set my paper type to glossy photo paper and quality is high (but I can get away with using standard, because the print quality is amazing with their photo printers).
@@CraftiqueByRoLLC I am having that same issue with my Ecotank 8550 and I didn't have that issue before. I use Koala inkjet glossy photo paper and have never had an issue until now. I hope someone has a resolve to this problem.
