I can totally agree...Its not about denying falling in love and relationships, but its about feeling whole and fulfilled also without a relationship. I just listened to an very good audio book that describes the "Falling in love" phase, what happen ds in our body. When I think back to when I fell in love I really understand what you mean with the word consuming :).
It's an German audio book from the German psychologist Nele Sehrt, I don't think it's avaible in English :(. But I'm sure there are lots of other blog entry, and books that are focusing on a scientific approach, if you are interested😊.
