In this video, I am going to be talking about painful periods (Dysmenorrhea). It is a very common condition that affects a lot of women all over the world. It can also be very disabling and significantly impact a women's life so I wanted to share my knowledge on this topic and give my own personal tips on what has helped me with my period pains.
In this video, I will be talking about what causes period pains, the different types of period pains (Primary and Secondary Dysmenorrhea) and conditions that cause secondary dysmenorrhea such as Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and pelvic inflammatory disease. As well as how you can manage your period pains using simple measures, medication and when to see your doctor for a possible referral to a gynecologist.
