I’ve been sliding for years and early releasing - not sure one causes the other but it is so effecting my consistency

Thank you for this video. Every time I see my swing on video I see this move into the follow through. One instructor called it a soft left knee. I will work on the drill with alignment rod and some slow, short swings to get the feel.

Great video and a perfect drill and something I’ve been working on with my coach in my last lesson. One quick question should we be aiming to start the bump before completion of the backswing ?

I am a little confused. I definitely have a bad slide... but I do not have buckled knees at all. I am way too far forward by the time I rotate. I hope you can propose a drill to time the rotation correctly. Thank you.

I think that I’m doing that - not fully extending. My striking isn’t consistent. I’m going to get some alignment sticks and work on this. Great video

Sorry I'm confused - the purpose of the video is to stop 'sliding' - but the error you were pointing out was that we don't get to that alignment stick (hence no sliding or a reverse pivot). I believe sliding is a symptomatic habit of mine and I really want to address it.
